24.01.2022 Did you you know one micro-bat can eat up to 1000 mosquitos a night! Encourage them to live in your garden in one of these handmade jarrah boxes and enjoy sitting outside again.

04.01.2022 Battsenby's Wildlife Habitats will be at the Kalamunda Garden Festival; it's a great range of stalls, talks and products, and it's going to be a beautiful day. The Kalamunda Farmers Markets are on right next door, and theres live music and food trucks to get yummy cooked and fresh food, and great way to tie it in with a trip through the Bickley Valley and end up at a winery or brewery. Hope to see you there.

03.01.2022 We are branching out into a new habitat - Pardalote boxes! For those of you who don't know pardalotes are native Australian birds who eat psyllids (sap sucking pests). A wonderful addition to any integrated pest management programme!

01.01.2022 Battsenby's was lucky enough to be visited by Garden Guru Neville Passmore and his wife Delia. They very kindly donated some old Jarrah timber which we upcycled into native bee hotels, pardalote boxes and microbat boxes. #loverecycling

01.01.2022 New microbat box design debut at Kalamunda Garden Festival Sunday 11th August. This design works really well on the north face of houses; along with our existing range of native bee hotels, traditional microbat boxes and possum boxes.
