18.01.2022 At tonights' Dinner Meeting one of our longest serving members Arend Vink was awarded the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellow Award. Arand is a quiet achiever and is always behind the scenes at every event doing preparation or pack up, and in between is constantly front and centre volunteering his services and skills. Congratulations Arand.

18.01.2022 Hi All, As a small Lions club covering the areas of Macclesfield, Meadows & Echunga townships we thought it would be a good idea for us to give you all an update of some of the things we have been up to in the 2019/20 financial year. We donated $20,270 to various Charities & Organisations in the financial year of 2019/20. We also run the Macclesfield Bike show, sell Christmas cakes on our Santa Runs in each township, run a Lions Shed selling second hand goods, do community w...orks & of course we can’t forget the sizzles that Lions are well known for. We run a workshop & manage the Carolyn’s Chemo Caps Project that distribute Carolyn’s Chemo Caps to hospitals all over Australia & Internationally. The workshop also made library book bags for the primary schools in our community & some schools within SA. We would like to give a HUGE shoutout & heart felt thanks to all those in our communities & further afield that support us in any way - we appreciate you all.

11.01.2022 Lions Helped out with the BBQ at the Meadows Community Pharmacy's Christmas End of Year Event Today. Lion Arand (tying to hide far left) did an amazing job feeding everyone who came, and even every client leaving the doctors surgery, as well as lunch for surrounding local business's.... Lions Serve Our Community.
