21.01.2022 We are back for 2020 We had a break over Christmas and most of January (whoops ) but we are back at it. Moving some posts locally, for a beautiful customer this afternoon.

16.01.2022 WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY MORE DONATIONS Good evening all, just a final update for you on our donation run. We have sorted through the clothing that everyone kindly donated. Inundated with over 300 bags of clothing we are doing 4 things 1) The brand new items are being taken to Kempsey on Saturday for Christmas Gifts along with the brand new toys, Xmas trees, clothing etc. ... 2) The items that are in great condition are also being taken up to Kempsey for immediate use 3) The okay items - if we cannot fit this on our truck we will be donating them to the salvos locally. The consensus was everyone was going to do this anyways if we weren't going to Kempsey, so we thought everyone would be okay with us doing this. 4) The clothing that is not suitable will be recycled and made into rags. We are not taking any more donations & Saturday will be our last run to Kempsey. Thank you for all your support and it has been amazing to meet such beautiful people. We are very lucky to live among such kind hearted Aussies

16.01.2022 And we are on the road again to deliver the last of the donations to Kempsey Later than we wanted to leave but guess what - I washed my car yesterday (drive through in singleton) and we were 1/2 way packing the truck annndd we had a thunderstorm Always the way, but so glad to see & feel the rain.... 11.01.2022 It's with a heavy heart, we are calling quits on Batur Haulage. It's been the biggest challenge for us, with working full time & trying to juggle other commitments... we just cannot put enough time into this venture. We have been blessed to be able to do some pretty incredible things with our truck Ziggie Stardust . We have made people smile seeing our full truck of hay roll in, when they have only 1 bale left to feed their stock. We have been able to take water tanks out ...west to those suffering with drought of devastating proportion. We have taken aid to Kempsey to help out with the 2019/2020 horrific bushfires, with a whole community rallying with us. Always try to leave the world a little better than you found it & we would like to think we have done just that with our old girl.
