16.01.2022 Only 1 week to go until our Sale..... We endeavour to make improvements each year so again this year the sale will be on AuctionsPlus on Tuesday, 6 October at 12 noon, but this year the sale format will change to sequential. Also we will be set up at the Ariah Park Hall with the rams displayed on the big screen and agents in attendance with bids to be taken from the floor. Rams will be penned from 9:00-11:00am on the day of the sale for inspections.... We are pleased to offer 5 specially selected rams and 95 flock rams who average 96kg. 14.01.2022 Super thrilled that ewes sired by Bauer Rams have topped the Temora/West Wyalong 1st X Ewe sale again on Friday. Congratulations to the Maguire’s on their price of $375. Congratulations also to the O’Dwyer family on achieving 2nd & 3rd top of $360 & $350 for their draft of ewes.

14.01.2022 Video of our keeper rams. We believe these are 3 of the best rams we’ve bred with data to back them up. They weigh between 95-104kg and eye muscles from 44-45mm and widths from 96-97mm. We are awaiting the micron results as well. Semen from these rams can be collected and available for sale if requested

10.01.2022 Thank goodness we have sheep!!! 2019 highlight for us was the Horsham Show & Sale held yesterday. We were so thrilled that both rams we offered went to new homes. Ram 80/18 sold to the Stoney family of ‘Ellingerrin’ for $10,000 and 74/18 sold to the Selmes family of ‘Jerradale’ for $2,500, both repeat buyers of Bauer rams. Thanks to the purchasers and underbidders and thank you to the Stoney & Selmes families for again trusting our genetics to use in their programs.

10.01.2022 Big decisions were made at Bauer today. After much discussion we’ve decided to catalogue another 37 rams for our sale this Tuesday - 36 Flock rams and an extra stud Ram to start our sale that we had originally held for Horsham.

09.01.2022 2020 Sale Rams enjoying the beautiful sunshine after 35 mm of rain over the weekend. We think the Rams look amazing considering the tough start they had to their lives.

06.01.2022 This year we will be offering two rams at the Horsham Annual Show & Sale this year to be held because of Covid restrictions on Auctionsplus on Monday 26th October at 1:00pm. Leading the pair will be a full brother to ‘Dusty’ the Supreme Border at both Bendigo & Melbourne in 2017 who displays all the traits that Dusty was renowned for.

05.01.2022 What a beautiful day for preg scanning yesterday. Incredible results were obtained with an overall conception rate of 191% from ewes joined!!! Every ewe in lamb has 2.03 lambs in them. Good luck shepherd . The ewes will be drafted according to number of lambs just prior to lambing since all data has been recorded electronically. This is the kind of raw data we like working with. It was a great relief to have the cows in calf after the bull had a nasty workplace accident 18 months ago. His chances of recovery were slim but being such a good bull we decided to take the chance.
