05.01.2022 GOVERNMENT FUNDING: If you have private overhead powerlines on your property you are eligible. The Powerline Replacement Fund (PRF) program, where the Victorian government provides funding to eligible owners of overhead electric lines (POELs) to be replaced with a new underground electrical supply. The program was created as a direct result of the Black Saturday bushfires on 7 February 2009, one of the worst in Victorias history.
