24.01.2022 #163!!!! Taneesha B! Today was the BIG day & success! Well done. Thanks also to Mentor Luke & RACV Drive School Instructors Mark & Dean. Baw Baw L2P watched as Taneesha committed to the program. As well as consistently developing driving skills she helped with Bunnings BBQs, Snowfest 2019, 3BBRFM radio announcement recordings, organised Beth, introduced Riley to L2P, stayed in contact during this COVID pandemic and has the biggest smile. Marvellous.

17.01.2022 Mercure Hotel Warragul has granted our 2 Baw Baw L2P cars 2 reserved parking spaces. We thank Mercure for again supporting our program. We also thank Warragul Police for allowing us to park at the police station for the last 11 years. Learner Chelsea & Mentor Sue ready to go.

15.01.2022 Trafalgar & District Community Bank & Board has been a generous supporter of Baw Baw L2P for 10 years. Last Friday #162 P licence holder, David Smith, (who passed his drive test with NO errors, in March 2020) chauffeured his past Mentor Ian Symons in our Nissan Micra to TDCB. Manager Phil Drummond greeted David and our Chairman Terry Barridge & Coordinator Beth Carr shared the day.

10.01.2022 Baw Baw L2P now has 2 new signs for our planned pop-up program awareness / promotion. All Learners, past & present, are very welcome to help with this. We will appear at different places for 30mins to share information & stories with the public. We NEED MORE MENTORS and always looking for eligible young Learner drivers who need help to gain supervised driving time. Thanks to Tim the Toolman for doing this job. Tops!

By partnering local volunteers with youth, it allows for great one-on-one mentorship resulting in safer drivers and roads, but also great social and community benefits such as access to employment, training and further education. ... We will- *ensure you are trained, well supported and have a good understanding of the program through induction and connection with current mentors *match you with a Learner *provide you with access to a fuelled, fully insured vehicle. 08.01.2022 Baw Baw L2P was advised to temporarily suspend our program from noon today- Monday 23rd March. Coordinator Beth did some quick paperwork and escaped from HQ. Our community is strong so lets hold on and when this Covid-19 is over, well bounce back. Keep your distance for now. Hugs can wait.
