24.01.2022 Our amazing fort has so many benefits and we are so lucky to have such amazing equipment. The children love going up on the fort to wave goodbye to their educators and parents. How gorgeous is the excitement in their voices.

23.01.2022 Our kinder children participated in a gardening project with our sustainability leader Candice and are so excited to watch their plants grow and look forward to adding them to our vegetable gardens. Thank you to Heath and his mum for bringing in the seeds for us to use. We would love if you could all please help us care for our plants in the foyer by ensuring they are being looked after and if they are dry please give them a water with the spray bottle.

23.01.2022 So many possibilities with the tree branch sorter, Ridley and Aeyla spent time counting the pieces, taking them off and on and even created an ice cream shop. From this they are developing their numeracy skills, fine motor development as well as imaginative and creativity skills.

12.01.2022 Our health and well-being officer Nicki held a yoga class for the children outdoors today. They all loved getting involved and exploring the different poses and breathing techniques. Children gain enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to our winners of our most recent sustainability competition who worked extremely hard to create recycled resources for the learning environments. Tegan and chloe from our Prekinder room created a bug house to stem from their children’s interests and got the families involved by bringing in different materials. Jordyn created a rain catching water recycler for the children to engage with and explore. All of the resources made were amazing and it’s such a great way to learn about making resources at no cost whilst being sustainable.

08.01.2022 Our practice fire evacuation a couple of weeks back. Fire drills help prepare our children and educators to respond quickly, calmly, and safely. Fire drills play a very important role in workplace fire safety. After each drill we evaluate the effectiveness of the drill to allow us to continually improve.

08.01.2022 Open ended materials provide multiple uses and endless play. It enables children to be creative and express themselves in play, often using materials to explore and represent other things. 05.01.2022 Congratulations to our amazing chef Shaye who won sparrows state chef of the month award. Thank you for all of your constant hard work and dedication, we are to lucky to have you on our team ! Shaye says she loves her role as the centre cook and enjoys coming to work each day to provide all of the children with nutritious meals (even the fussy ones) they keep me on my toes and I love that they continuously challenge me to be inventive and to adapt recipes to suit a rang...e of tastes and dietary requirements. I love that the kitchen opens up to the toddler room and the window outside, which gives me an opportunity to interact with the kids, I’m greeted many times a day by the children excitedly yelling out and waving Hello kitchen Shaye And it truly makes my day! 01.01.2022 How gorgeous is this proud little face! The children love the natural tree logs within the yard and often practice furthering their balancing skills as they walk along them. This allows the children to develop problem-solving skills and a sense of self-efficacy and risk negotiation. This experience contains many physical benefits such as increased strength, flexibility, dexterity, and better spatial awareness.
