25.01.2022 Season Update!! 3 rounds of the season are done and we've had some great results both individually, and as a team. 4 of the 5 sides are sitting in the top 4 while the 3rds are doing a great job in a very tough grade with a win no doubt not far away.... The new 1sts skipper is leading the way with the bat while it seems the Hodgsons are all having a great year. (A slightly higher average is the only reason Tye isn't listed as well). While it seems we've only just started there are only 3 games to go before Christmas. Lets keep working hard and building the momentum.

There are few bigger names at Baxter than the Harveys and it's fantastic to see Biz and the 2 boys playing together in the 3rds.... Don't forget and turn up with your whites!! 3 sides at home and the 3rds & 5ths will be combining to make what is sure to be a delicious dinner. 04.01.2022 ROUND 2!! Another tough selection night with the fantastic numbers this year giving us a good problem to have. Some more inclusions and returning faces this week and it's great to see the coach in for his Baxter debut.... Special mention to new 2s skipper Pete back in for his first game of the season. 04.01.2022 Friday Flashbax!! On the eve of round 1 it seemed appropriate to have a look back at the very best individual performances for our great club. There have been 10 occasions where someone has managed a score of over 200 in an innings and some of these names are Baxter royalty. Chris Brittain is the most recent inductee to the list while the great Jack Peacock managed the feat twice (in the same season). At the top of the tree is the only man to have reached 300, superstar Dan...iel Warwick. For the bowlers, there have been 13 times where someone has managed to take a 9 wicket haul while it was over 50 years ago that our only 10 wicket bag was taken by Arthur Jansen in the Sub District 1sts. Some more great Baxter names on this list such as Pearce, Fulton and the legend Mark Grange. Surprising too that we’ve found a list that doesn’t include the Prez but not to worry, at least someone else from the executive committee is taking up the slack Best of luck to everyone tomorrow, it’s been a long wait but the season is finally upon us.
