[email protected] Our September meeting on paper will be one of the most eventful meeting since we started the new group in March 2019. I would like to invite you to what promises to be a milestone meeting. I thank Alan on behalf of all members for his gracious gift of our club gavel. Also it will be lovely to have Narelle and Jen back in the frey! At the September meeting I have decided to run a session on impromptu speaking. I have attached a set of notes to study before the presentation. Every member will be scheduled to prepare a speech on a topic of their own choice.3 5 minutes. With or without notes it doesn’t matter. We have people on board who are in the same boat. They steady the ship for us. Expect encouragement and compliments and helpful hints along the way. I attach a program for September meeting and if you aren’t programmed come along you’ll always have a chance to speak.e.g. tell a joke; a personal story;count the ums and ahrs; keep the time!
