23.01.2022 We do apologise that we have had no customer access through our personnel gate today, but this little guy was on the gate at 4:30 when we got here this morning and he is still happily perched on the gate now. We didn’t want to risk him flying into the barbed wire so we have not opened the access gate!

17.01.2022 Christmas Closures Bay City Mini Mix will be closing on Tuesday December 22nd at 12 and will reopen on Mondy the 11 January 2021 at 7am. We want to take the opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers for their support during 2020. ... 2020 has been a huge year for all of those in the building and trade industry and has seen record concrete sales for us. We also want to thank our drivers for going above and beyond as always. Putting in long hours, early starts and doing whatever is needed to help us pump out concrete in an efficient and professional manner. We hope everyone has a well earned break and we look forward to working with you all in 2021.

We will be reopening on Jan 6th at 6:30am. ... Our sister business Billabong Water Cartage will remain open the entire Christmas break to get water to those who need it. After 26 years of serving the Fraser Coast, Paul and Irene are ready to take a step back and retire, so Justin and Libby have taken the business on. Paul and Irene have always had strong family values, especially when it comes to business so were delighted to continue the family operation with their son and daughter in law taking on the business. Youll receive the same service, from the same friendly staff.... We look forward to a continued professional relationship into 2019.

13.01.2022 Bay City Mini Mix will continue to operate at this stage, but we have put some measures in place to protect our staff and the public and we would ask that you assist us by abiding by the restrictions we have in place. Please do not touch our trucks. We have sanitised our work place and this includes our vehicles to protect our drivers and ask that you avoid potentially contaminating them by not touching any part of the truck, agitator or chutes. While our trucks are running..., they can be a little noisy and if the driver is standing near them, they won’t hear you if you talk to them. Please keep you distance and refrain from leaning in close to them to talk to them or to get their attention. Wait until they move away from the truck so they are able to hear better and communicate with them from the required distance. We have closed our administrative office off to everyone other than essential staff. No customers are to enter the administrative office. There is a number you can call listed on the door you can ring to notify us you are there. If it is something we can help you with over the phone, please call us rather than come into the depot. We are restricting access to the batching office. Please knock if you are outside the batch office and wait until someone answers the door. Please do not enter the batching office. We will come out to you or talk through The open door. We ask that you maintain the required distance while doing so. If you require products from our warehouse, wherever possible, phone ahead with your order so we can get it ready. The warehouse door is closed and will remain that way for the foreseeable future. Cash sales are asked to pay over the phone with card where possible to minimise contact. 13.01.2022 Bay City Mini Mix are looking into ways we can save our customers $$$ We have looked into bulk buying more of our products and are reducing prices as we go. Our 205L General Purpose sealer was retailing for $1095.05 and we have managed to reduce the price to $1039.55, thats a saving of $55.50 per drum! ... We will also be donating $15 from every drum sold to Forever Safe Pet Rescue Inc. a local animal rescue we support. We also have raffle tickets in the office in a 1L bottle of rum the rescue is raffling off. Tickets are $5 each and the prize will be drawn on the 20th April, so ask about them next time your in.

11.01.2022 Some exciting changes happening. With the new truck on the road, we now have the capability to do much larger pours. We have also found the demand for the Emerald White stone is huge. So many salt and pepper or Emerald white/Mary river aggregate exposed slabs going down. Also having a major facelift at the batching plant. A lot of clearing up, rearranging and modernising of the place. ... Stay tuned for some pics and more updates.

We have a small range of tools including screeds and floats, chapin sprayers as well as plastic and ...bar chairs. Call in and see us for all your concreting needs. We are closed for the break and will reopen 7am on the 7th Jan 2019 and look forward to seeing you all in the new year.

02.01.2022 There is a large dog that has been coming to the depot the last couple nights. It makes a mess scavenging the bins and was aggressive toward and growled at my worker last night so we do not want it continuing to come back as our staff do work nights and I dont want anyone attacked. It is currently roaming at work at the moment and setting off our security cameras. If anyone knows who may own it, please ask them to do something about securing it otherwise I will have to contact council and being aggressive as it is, this is probably not the best option for the dog. The pictures are not good, but it appears to be a golden looking slender dog, quite a large dog.
