25.01.2022 Both Deb and I have signed up again for 2017- if you want to join our walking team you will need to raise $500 to be eligible to participate. You can choose to walk, ride or become a crew member and help with set up and running of food stops. Let us know if you want to join our team

22.01.2022 Another walk done and dusted!! Wanting to organise huge team next year 2018- WHOS IN?? Here is the link if you want to sign up. Our names are not online yet so give it a few days but when you sign up click join a team and search for The Bay Titty Strollers. Both mine (Joanne Heyman) and Debra Swanns name will come up so you will know if you got the right team. If something happens dont stress we can always get you added to our team afterwards. You only need to raise $500 each. You can join as a walker (25kms) or rider (100km ride), but if that is not your thing then you can sign up as crew and help set up the pit stops and hand out food, drinks etc. We want a HUGE team next year!!! Its only one day out of your life. You can do it!! http://theoneday.org.au

20.01.2022 Hello all, We need your input for our next MEGA Auslan Swear dinner. We are hoping to host it in a hall to hold approx 80-100 people (preferably not a school hall due to the adult content but hoping for BBQ/kitchen facilities a and access to a screen for Powerpoints etc). I'm still on the hunt for this more towards the city or centralised location so if anyone can help let me know. Our question being- When is the most suitable for you? The Australian Deaf Games are at 20-27th January and the last week of February is out due to the Western Port Festival on the 23rd-25th. So the question is- What month would best suit everyone for a large scale Auslan swear dinner? The link is below- so let us know :-) https://goo.gl/forms/nruLcCRBmJEvxEO73

12.01.2022 Thank you to all those who attended our Flirty Fingers dual fundraiser on the 12th May. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves and are continuing to practice your newfound Auslan knowledge for all the wrong reasons. We managed to raise $1,292.50.on the night meaning that both charities will collect $646.25!! This is a wonderful result which would not have been possible without your generosity and for that we are truly grateful. Deb is now offering herself to any sexy waiter that looks her way so if you want to organise for her to come to your event, feel free to contact her as long as you provide the waiter (Ill tag along for a perve too) . Once again, thank you all for your support, we cannot do this without you Angelic Jo Heyman and Deb, waiter chaser, Swann

11.01.2022 Well the 60km walk to End Women's cancer's is finally over and I can take a quick well earned break from fundraising. Over the two days I managed to walk approx 35kms all together on crutches over (don't tell Deb I snuck a few Kms in when she wasn't watching but in my defence the car was full). My good leg has suffered taking most of the weight with a few blisters and my arms are aching in places I never knew existed! My injured leg hurt every now and then but otherwise all... good. Once again I was amazed at the wonderful support from everyone! The sweeper teams definitely got my vote- Fucking awesome!! With each step I felt sadness and anger at losing close friends to this insidious disease but I also remembered my friends and family who have fought and survived! You're the reason why I walk. Throughout the journey made new friends and scores of people wanted their photo taken with us both. I had complete strangers groping my Madonna cones and asking if they could put their head inside my polystyrene cleavage! Too funny! As for Debra Swann - well what do you say? Without her I still would have walked but it would have been bloody boring!!! She made sure that the fundraising and the walk was filled with determination, respect and crass hilarity! Loved every minute Deb! I want to take this opportunity to give a VERY special thanks all my helpers and volunteers who gave up their time to attend a BBQ or sell chocolates for me. Ian Mounsey Brooke Bazley , Michelle Caulfield Loretta Heyman Alyce Fogarty Mark Humphries Kerryn Martin Coralene Crawford Sam Keats Simon Anderson and Jeff Mead- thanks for allowing me a day off tmw! And let's not forget the donators. This weekend simply would not have been possible without you- I love you all! Thanks Mum and Dad for meeting me at the end! So rewarding seeing a familiar face as you cross over the finish line. Last but not least- to Andrew Broom- Thanks for everything. I can't list it all here as it will go on forever! You truly are my rock! Love you Doos! #WalkingMelbourne #TheWeekendML See more

10.01.2022 WOW- what an awesome response! With 44 people going it's possible that we may need to relocate this one as well to fit you all in . 08.01.2022 Ok Melbourne!!! Next Saturday the 9th of April is YOUR TURRRRNN!!! Can't wait to get down and dirty with you all in the name of charity! Make sure you change your status if - 1) You're no longer going take your name off, 2) you're down as 'interested' but you're coming or 3) You're down as 'not going' but your plans have changed and you are coming. We go by these numbers when we book our tables so please help us give the restaurant a true indication of numbers. Look forward to seeing you all there!

08.01.2022 IMPORTANT PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE ATTENDING TONIGHT Due to Mothers Day tmw, attendees are lower than expected for tonights Swear dinner. As a result we were unable to hire food truck because the costs far outweighed our profits and would have sent us into the red. To replace this we have ordered a small amount of food at our expense to come out at 7pm (party pies sausage rolls etc- they dont have a commercial kitchen). As a way to help us keep costs down and ensure ...money is raised for the charities we are asking that you have a large lunch or early dinner or stop off at Maccas on the way We apologise for this but we are sure you all understand. The venue DOES NOT ALLOW ANY outside food or drinks to be bought into the club. Please pass this message onto all your friends who are attending tonight so they dont come with an empty stomach On a happier note- Bring your gold coins and be prepared for a fun night that will be sure to educate you and warm you up in the chilly weather! 06.01.2022 Not a cancer fundraiser but a fundraiser with lots of swearing- Honestly what could go wrong? CLEAR YOUR CALENDARS- THE FAMOUS AUSLAN SWEAR DINNER IS BACK AND RAISING FUNDS FOR HEAR NO EVIL- AUSTRALIAN DEAF DOG RESCUE This year promises to be bigger and better with the long awaited return of the original line up of the 'Swearing Signers' Debra Swann, Marnie Kerridge and myself to ensure you learn every possible swear word in Australian sign language!! This event will be taking place at the St Kilda Bowls Club in Melbourne on the 23rd November from 6pm. Tickets are $30 each and available via the link below. TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE- https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/flirty-fingers-tickets-7293

02.01.2022 An absolutely HUMUNGOUS thank you to everyone who came last night. It was by far the largest group we have had and well.... Probably the rudest we have had too! There was a bit of confusion at the beginning of the night with drink and meal payments and as a result some were not paid for. Thanks to those lovely people who remembered and contacted us straight away- I will accept you were distracted by all the hilarity . If you forgot to pay for any food or drinks can you please send us a private message so we can get it organised and wrap up our fundraising profits for the walk next week. Will let you all know how much we raised once this is done. Don't know about you but I'm still coming down from all the excitement

01.01.2022 Can the person who won the raffle of Blackhawk dog food please contact me? Thanks
