25.01.2022 A good number of people attended our last BQ for this comp year. with the weather misbehaving there was a total lack of fish with only two fish being weighed in a leatherjacket by John Rixon 0.656 and a flathead by Keith Brooks tipping the scales at 0.352. Daniel Parsons again provided his usual top quality Kebabs, sausages and steak well cooked by himselfand roger backed up by Dean. Keith was captain of the day Craig tried to win the away comp by trying to put everyone to s...leep by turning the gas on but not lighting it so he was awarded the DUMMY. Jacquline's guest won the raffle Thomas senior badge draw and Harvey the junior badge draw. The AGM is still on at the Soldiers club on the 16th with the presentation at Hanging Rock 17th at 5pm bring your table /chairs hope to see you all there See more

05.01.2022 November BQ was attended by a good crowd despite the hot weather. Four was a crowd cooking the bq so Dallas and Rod retreated to the keg and let John and Dean cast their Magic. With horrible winds it is a wonder that anyone caught a fish but a few hardy souls managed that with John Rixon weighing in the largest a Snapper of 1.26kg from Simon Fitzgerald who weighed his at 1.202kg taking out the Blue Water section. Thomas weighed in a 0636kg Flathead to record the biggest flathead with keith weighing his at 0.514kg to win the Estuary section. Peter caught a tailor to win the Beach award. Our next comp is 19/20 December hope the weather is better then.

04.01.2022 Don't forget this weekend is our last fishing comp for the year weigh-in as usual and don'forget any trophies to be returned. AGM is still penciled in for the Soldiers Club October16. If you would like to stand for a position let it be known. Senior presentation is still up in the air as we are only allowed 10 people in a groupwe wait for easing of restrictions. Every prize is still up for grabs due to lack of comps so wet a line this weekend hope the weather is fine and good Luck. Wallaga Lake Estuary weekend is Oct31/Nov1 so put it your diary

03.01.2022 Wallaga Lake Estuary Away Comp - November 2020 What a fantastic turnout from our members! The pouring rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirit and a fun time was had by all! Only the D’Evelynes family scored fish to weigh in. Congratulations to our winners Neil, Sarah, Kaelee and Harvey!... Also, it was a special moment to have our newly crowned life member (and amazing club president) Scotty presented with his life member’s badge. So deserving and thank you once again for all that you do for the club.
