24.01.2022 Update on our Opening Status Great news! at the moment we are able to remain open as Take Away only. Drop in grab your coffee or grab your pre-packaged Sandwich, Wrap or Salad.... Please remember social distancing rules will still apply and it’s take away only. We will continue to keep you updated as new information is filtered down to us. Those of you working from home do not need to miss out, we sell our coffee beans by the bag so you can still enjoy!

20.01.2022 It is with a touch of sadness that we announce that we are closing the doors on our Forest Hill Cafe. Thursday the 24th December will be our last day of trade. I would like to thank the wonderful people I have met over the last few years along my family and friends who have traveled this journey with me.... Whilst we will no longer be operating from where it all began, please know that this is not the end for Bay21. We will take some time to dust ourselves off and somewhere soon you will see us again. Keep an eye out on our page to see what is happening next.

18.01.2022 Due to circumstances beyond our control we will unfortunately not have any Sandwiches/Wraps or Salads today. With this in mind we will be closing at 12 noon. We will re open tomorrow morning at 7am.... Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

15.01.2022 COVID 19 Update - Due to the extension of stage 4 lockdowns we will remain closed until Monday 5th October. If anything changes between now and then we will let you know.... We are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and cannot wait to see all of our wonderful customers again. Stay safe and see you all soon!

13.01.2022 Due to ongoing restrictions we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the cafe. We will be closing from Wednesday 5th August. We expect to re open on Monday 21st September.... Any updates or changes will be posted here so please keep an eye out for new posts. Thank you to all our customers for your support, we look forward pouring you a cup again soon.

12.01.2022 Yes we are still open! A few measures have been put in place to help reduce risk. We are currently grab and go only, no dine in sorry.... We are also currently card only and not accepting cash. As of Monday the 23rd we have also made the difficult decision to suspend the use of keep cups, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Now what hasn’t changed? Same great tasting coffee! Same great food options (although not quite as much as normal)! Same Barista! Same great customers! Thanks all for your support through this challenging time.

11.01.2022 As you are probably all aware by now, all non essential services in Victoria will be forced to close within the next 48 hours. As we are considered to be a non essential service that will unfortunately include us. At this point in time we have not been given any instructions on when this closure will take place nor for how long. We are OPEN Monday 23rd as usual but past that we have no idea.... We hope to see some of you tomorrow and will certainly keep everybody up to date as further information arrives. This is obviously not the news we were wanting to hear but not unexpected also. We wish all of our customers, family and friends the very best during this extremely challenging time. We look forward to catching up with everyone as soon as we are allowed to re open. If you are in the area and in need of a coffee tomorrow Monday 23rd please come on in but don't forget the social distancing rules are in effect.

09.01.2022 Whats left of our morning rush is about to get more difficult, this means that no more than 8 people can be in the Cafe at anyone time plus me of course. Pain to have to deal with, let hope there is a glimmer of light soon! Don't forget to text ahead if you want a coffee 0474166672, its a text only line so please do not call. We will pop your order in line and work around this space issue.

09.01.2022 Last couple of days to get down and get your Bay21 coffee fix! We still have plenty of coffee to go around, bags of beans for sale, a table with other bits and ...pieces for sale (cold drip, plates, keep cups etc) with more being added as we go. 06.01.2022 Yep, We are opening the doors, firing up the machines and serving with a smile (you can’t see it though cause we will have a mask on)! Monday the 5th October we start trading again and are looking forward to seeing everyone. Trading hours are still reduced 7am - 2pm along with a limited range of food and snacks but it’s a start.

03.01.2022 COVID-19 Update for the Cafe. No Dine In All sales are Grab and Go... All transaction will be card We will not be accepting Cash. Revised Trading Hours (starting Wed 25th March) Mon Fri 7am to 2pm Social Distancing Rules Apply No more than 8 people in the Café at any one time. Please keep 1.5m from other people. Sanitised cleaning on door handles, fridges and other contact points will be done multiple times throughout the day. Rest assured, your health and ours are our upmost priority and these simple measures allow us to reduce risk. We hope that you are understanding during this difficult time and thank you for your continued support.
