24.01.2022 The Covid lock downs haven't slowed us down at Bay5 racing, we have used this opportunity to put away the race car and get to work on the restomod of this S12 Silvia RSX. We started with making new spindle style enginemounts, fabricated inhouse, then moved onto refurbishing a set of standard rear calipers. And now with a freshly modded intercooler to make the plumbing abit nicer. We now have all the coldside pipe work tacked up ready for welding and have now modified a std airbox lower to incorporate a large aluminium section.

21.01.2022 Here is a befor and after of an S14 we recently worked on, now only have a catchcan to fabricate and install befor it hits the dyno very soon. We installed a Garrett G25-550 on a 6Boost highmount manifold, Turbosmart 45mm ganV gate, Raceport BOV, FPR800 and a BPP rail with Bosch topfeed injectors, and Walbro 460 intake fuel pump We Fabricated the 3in dumppipe, screamer pipe, hot side coolerpipe, intake pipe and custom Aluminium Airbox.... We also made up all new turbo water and oil hoses aswell as fuel hoses using Braided PTFE hose and AN fittings

20.01.2022 We have had the car back at the strip, was a hot night with crap air for making power, but have managed to back up the 11.1 with another, this time at only 128mph, as the clutch decided to slip at the top of 4th and it hit the limiter. Half track PB tho with a 7.2@100mph to the half Pic of timeslip in the comments Vid of a slower pass sent to me by someone who follows the page.

19.01.2022 Today we installed an inhouse made catchcan into the S14 we worked on last month to complete our work and now our friends at #EFIperformancetuning can get the car tuned and see how the Garrett - Advancing Motion G25-550 performs. All parts for this build were supplied by Goleby's Parts

18.01.2022 Afew weeks ago we were approached by a customer to create a solution to a unique problem. They were building a giant scale Lego space shuttle that needed to be suspended on its side. We made a frame for the shuttle to slip over and hang from, then a base that could support it and not allow it to fall over as tgis is being displayed over the next 12months at various lego shows around NSW to help raise money for local Charities and schools.

17.01.2022 We made abit more progress on the RSX restomod today. Engine back out for hopefully the last time, we swapped the bellhousing off the Z32 box and onto an R33 box, as that now has the shifter into the factory location. Also Installed the OSGekin triple plate clutch with new OEM slave cylinder and HEL braided clutch hose.. Then reinstalled the motor and box. And started to planout the engine harness layout.... Next is to measure up for a new tailshaft, sortout some coilpacks and injectors then get the engine harness made. We have also started to purchase items for the next S12 build, which i think will be worth keeping an eye on.

16.01.2022 At Bay5 we not only Fabricate, we can also do complete turbokit install's including full braided hoses, We are Currently looking into becoming a supplier of all major Australian brands of performance products. So we will be able to just supply if your a DIY type of person, or supply and fit.

09.01.2022 Here we have a 3.5in exhaust being made up for the car we have just finished installing a Bay5 manifold/Garrett turbo kit into.

09.01.2022 We have been abit quite of late since the acquisition of the Deported Assassin, due to a personal injury that has sidelined me. Now we are ready to get back into it. With Jamboree Sydney 2021 coming up on the 20th March. This weekend we have a test and tune so in preparation we have fitted new Import Drag Solutions s14/15 front coilover and some softer rear springs to try and help get out the hole quicker and improve the 60ft to chase that S-Chassis SR20 stockbottomend 10sec pass.. 05.01.2022 Here is 2 out of our fleet of S12's, the coupe is an Aussie delivered Gazelle with an SR20det conversion, making 340rwkw's witha current best time of 11.1@130mph. The Hatch is a JDM S12 RSX Silvia factory FJ20et, currently in the process of being restored and modernized with electric AC, haltech controlled Cruise control, DBW all while retaining a factory look inside and out. We have acouple more S12's in the fleet and will introduce those in the coming weeks

04.01.2022 We have made abit more progress on the RSX, completed the welding on the coldside cooler pipes, fitted an Aluminium GTiR radiator on custom lower mounts, now to make the upper mount tabs. All pulled apart again to sortout the heater and turbo water hoses, along with the starter and Alternator wiring. Haltech Elite1500 wiring harness made up, Turbosmart FPR800 mounted and trial fitted along with the plazmaman.com topfeed fuelrail and Platinum Racing Products R35 coil kit, all these parts and many more for our 3 S12 projects supplied by Goleby's Parts Amongst the pic's is a sneek peek at a part for our next S12 project.

03.01.2022 Starting the Install of a Bay5 Fabrication & Welding lowmount SR20 manifold, paired up with a Garrett - Advancing Motion GTX3076R Gen2 turbo. Nice and low for that stealth appearance. Have made a start on a new 3in dumppipe that will expand to 3.5in straight after the Lobster back.
