22.01.2022 This is not a food post...but just wanted to share a touching story. A man with wheelchair came to cafe today... As usual I asked "Can I help you?" ... He said "Wait"...tried to pull out something from his small wallet but his wallet was very tight with other stuffs. I then asked "Is it a meal voucher?" Coz I recognised him, he came to cafe before to claim food using Pay It Forward Voucher. He pull out $20 notes and asked for 2x$10 Pay It Forward Vouchers and with both palms together showing his great appreciation and kept saying thankyou, thankyou, thankyou... I offered him food and drinks but he declined and left with a smile. This really make my day!!! (Fyi. I was quite discouraged today with some challenges in business and personal matter). Whatever the guy did just made my day and I am now feeling with gratitude. :) I remembered this person, coz he came many months ago with another fren...together to claim some food with one voucher. I offered him another voucher which paid it forward by others. But he declined and said it was enough to share with his friend. Many thanks to many of you who contributed and continue supporting this cause...together we have given away over 800 meals and drinks thusfar to homeless and needy people in Redlands.
