21.01.2022 Our Dental Therapist, Liz Smith will start working from our city practice as of 22nd September for your children’s dental needs. She has been treating children in our Rosny practice for the past 18 years. Liz will work at our city practice on Fridays and alternate Thursdays while continuing to see patients at our Rosny practice Monday to Wednesday and alternate Thursdays. She can provide a highly personalised introduction to your child's first dental experience. We apprec...iate that the right care at the right time can make a big difference to how your child views dental treatment. Liz works in collaboration with our dentists in the care of your child. She is very experienced and has been treating children in Tasmanina for over 30 years. Her gentle and caring nature is ideal for your child’s first dental visit. At Bayfield Dental we make children’s dentistry fun and non-threatening, even in challenging circumstances, with the purpose of developing children who do not fear dental treatment. At Bayfield Dental we recommend regular dental visits for your child. This enables early detection of dental problems and the prompt commencement of treatment. Regular visits also allow for detection and the appropriate timing for referral to an orthodontist for crooked teeth. At Bayfield Dental we believe that good oral habits should be reinforced at a young age in order to prevent early dental decay and to set your child on the pathway to good dental health. If you would like to bring your child for a dental check-up, please contact our reception City 6224 4484 and Rosny 6244 5993

04.01.2022 To our valued patients, At Bayfield Dental we recognise that these are challenging times and we are working hard to reduce the transmission of any viruses amongst patients under our care. Bayfield Dental is an accredited practice with the highest standards of infection control. We have now implemented further measures in order to specifically protect both our staff and our patients from COVID-19 (Coronavirus). As part of our new protocol which will help prevent our patients... and staff coming into contact with COVID-19: If you or anyone you have had close contact with are sick or have a fever, we ask you to call to reschedule your appointment. If you or your close contacts have returned from any overseas country in the last 14 days, please contact the practice to reschedule your appointment. If you have been in physical contact with somebody who is infected with COVID-19, please contact us to reschedule your appointment. We are also pleased to advise that we are following these additional steps to maximize your health and safety: We ask all patients to please use the hand sanitizer before entering and upon exiting the dental practice. All furniture, surface areas and public areas in the building have been and will be regularly decontaminated. The reception chairs have been spaced to adhere to social distancing. Signs have been placed reminding people to use hand sanitizer. A pre-procedural mouth wash will be used by all patients to reduce the oral bacterial load. Magazines and books have been removed from our waiting area. In addition to this, our team at Bayfield Dental are being very careful in regards to who they come in contact with. All staff who have travelled will not be returning to work until a 14 day self-isolation period. All staff members will remain at home if they have any flu or virus symptoms. We want you to be reassured that we are being very proactive in keeping our patients safe and wish to continue to provide high quality dental treatment to our patients. We will closely monitor the situation and make the appropriate changes as new information becomes available. The team at Bayfield Dental
