16.01.2022 UPDATE: Applications Now Closed Casual Summer Position (November - April) Bay of Fires Eco Tours are looking for a fun, energetic, well presented, reliable individual to become a guide onboard their coastal boat tours. We are a family run business and with a busy summer predicted we are looking for someone to become part of our family.... If you have a love of Tasmania, in particular the east coast and a love of the water, then this job is for you. We offer 3 different boat tour options, ranging for 1 - 3 hours in duration and spend an average of 5 hours a day on the water or preparing for our tours. You’ll meet people from all around the world and get to showcase the most beautiful coastline imaginable. Guiding and boating experience isn’t a necessity but a nice advantage. We are offering a casual position for the next 6 months, working 20-25 hours a week, including some weekend work. The successful candidate must hold a First Aid Certificate, or have the ability to quickly acquire one. An Elements of Shipboard Safety Certificate is not essential but would be an advantage. 04.01.2022 As a family we’d like to thank everyone who has toured with us over the last few weeks, it has been wonderful to be back out on the water. BOFET will now take a break through this extremely cool time of year, with tour restarting in late September. As a family business with young children we’ll take this time to enjoy Tasmania with them, before what we hope to be a busy summer season.
