25.01.2022 To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Bayside Triathlon Club we have partnered with local clothing brand Jaggad to create a limited edition cycling jersey. The jersey draws on the Bayside Triathlon Clubs first triathlon kit, which was in the clubs original colours of Blue, Fluoro Green and Fluoro Orange. The jersey features the clubs original logo, European length sleeves, mesh side panels for breathability and three rear pockets. As was the thing 25 years ago, the jers...ey is designed to be worn with black shorts. Jaggad are offering members who purchase the limited edition jersey the opportunity to purchase Jaggad Classic Bib Shorts at 50% off RRP. Two different cuts are available, a Team cut and Pro cut. The Team cut is a more relaxed cut than the Pro Jersey. They are for everyday cycling and training. They feature three slightly bigger pockets with mesh sides for additional breathability. The Pro cut is tighter against the body designed for racing, with European length lycra sleeves, mesh side panels for extra breathability and three rear pockets. This jersey will make you go fast. The organisers want Council to complete the Bay Trail without narrowing Beach Road. To date, neither cyclists nor motorists have been consulted regarding the narrowing of Beach Road. This survey aims to provide Council with data about what the cycling community think about the narrowing of Beach Road. The data will be provided to Council in March 2018. There are eight questions. The supplement of interest is beta-alanine, which is a Group B supplement in the AIS Supplement Framework. The role of beta-alanine has strong evidence to benefit short duration, high-intensity exercise but little is known about its applications on eventual endurance performance. 03.01.2022 ### Bayside Triathlon Club Junior Program is Back ### We are pleased to announce that Sascha Bondarenko has agreed to recommence the junior program at Bayside. Sascha is a former Elite Junior & U23 Triathlete and is currently juggling pro-cycling and his studies.... We will be offering a short Open Water Swim, Indoor Cycle & Run class this Thursday with an eye on Sunday's triathlon. 4:30pm Thursday - BTC Clubrooms Note juniors can come along and do 1 leg or all 3. And the session is targeted at anyone 8-18 and this Thursday is open to members and non-members for the free trial.
