20.01.2022 For those that missed the meeting a video of meeting is available here: http://stream.bayside.vic.gov.au/archive/video16-1220.php

18.01.2022 Success! A motion was passed last night that the proposed construction of a netball hub over the Sandy Aths Track was not feasible because the Sandy Aths clubs do not want to move. In terms of meeting netball's needs it will be 'back to the drawing board' to find a solution that is feasible. The council's resolution last night demonstrated genuine community leadership by councillors and council officers. The Bayside institution that is the Sandy Aths Track has been saved and can continue to be enjoyed by residents, local schools and sporting clubs.

12.01.2022 Congratulations to James Newbury on being pre-selected for the seat of Brighton replacing retiring MP, Louise Asher! Sad to see Louise go after serving the community so well and for so long but she seems to have picked a fine successor in James.

09.01.2022 ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Bayside City Council to receive a report recommending that the Sandy Aths Track stay and other sites for additional netball courts be explored NEXT TUESDAY (20 December 2016) at 7pm. See agenda and report (pages 87 - 95) at hyperlink below. https://www.bayside.vic.gov.au//20_december_2016_council_m
