23.01.2022 Hey guys, I've closed bookings until there is some more clarity around a reopen date. I need to make sure that all current bookings are rescheduled first. I really hope to reopen on the 28th but who knows at this stage. I am still available to answer questions or queries regarding dreads and dread care. There are some beautiful wraps, beads and spiralocks available in store if you feel like something nice for your dreads. Happy to post out! Have a lovely week

22.01.2022 Hey Dreadheads, I am now offering Sage (see post below). I recommend saging your dreadlocks if you get a lot of people touching them. It's also nice just to give them a bit of a clearing every now and then. Or you can use it in your spaces. Saging is something I personally do daily and I have a very strong connection to this plant. Can't wait to reopen and see you all soon

21.01.2022 Hey Dreadheads, due to stage 4 restrictions in Victoria we are closed. 16.01.2022 Having dreadlocks doesn't mean your exempt from washing your scalp and hair. In fact if you are a dreadhead I would urge your scalp care routine be more thorough then someone without dreads. I have been making dreadlocks for eight years now and I can tell you unwashed scalps lead to major scalp issues such as psoriasis, dandruff, contact dermatitis, eczema and tinea capitus not to mention the build up of everyday sweat and dust. I have also seen serious infections. ~ TREAT Y...OUR SCALP AS YOU WOULD TREAT YOUR FACE ~ If you feel you may be experiencing any of the above please have a friend or family member check, then seek advice from your doctor, naturopath, TCM or Ayurvedic Practitioner. This is all a part of the dreadlock journey Please do not turn up with an unwashed scalp. If you have an appointment with me your scalp and dreads are required to be washed the morning before and then air dried all day. It is a difficult process working with oily and wet hair. Always wash your dreads in the morning and allow them to air dry throughout the day. If you frequently wet your dreads at night you will most likely end up with dread rot which is mould in the dreads and very difficult to get out not to mention detrimental to your health and wellness. I personally recommend dread washing once a week but for anyone experiencing scalp issues washing every three days until cleared up and then can reduce down to weekly again. Palm rolling your dreads when wet is also a great way to keep them round and compact. I am happy to answer any questions you might have regarding scalp and dread care. Please send me a message if your require assistance. Kez x See more
