Flashback to 2018 when our Junior Cubs picked up a hat trick in the finals Our Junior Division started in 2011 when just handful of enthusiastic juniors started under the guidance of Rob Martin & Stuart Campbell. (Fun fact - there are 6 members from that inaugural year still playing for BHC - Tomer, Kate, Zali, Carlos and the Martin boys - Jack and Will pictured). ... It’s been a tough time for all of us in Melbourne and everyone should be so proud of the contribution you have made to reducing Covid numbers. 09.01.2022 Let’s make the most of lockdown and get on your bike!! For the month of October we have signed up to complete the Great Cycle Challenge to raise some much needed funds for kids cancer. Our aim is to try and raise $1972 (the year the Club formed) but more importantly cycle 3186km (the postcode of Brighton). ... Getting out and getting active is so important especially at the moment with restrictions still in place in Victoria. No bike? 08.01.2022 How good was this??? Bayside had three Under 18 teams on the pitch tonight. They obviously enjoyed the break from study and what better way to spend a Friday night. There will be 6 other local Clubs involved and the start date is 16 November.... 04.01.2022 Random act of kindness warning Christmas is just around the corner and it is that time of year where ‘giving’ is what the season is all about. Bayside Hockey Club and Black Rock Sports Club have partnered up with BayCISS to help our most vulnerable members of our community.... Every year BayCISS put together over 200 hampers for those in need. Some of the non perishable items we are collecting include - canned goods, Christmas cakes/puddings, shortbread, bonbons, cereal, dry biscuits, pasta, mince pies and chocolates. These can be dropped off to the Black Rock Sports Club (2 Fern Street Black Rock) - where we have a big silver box ready and waiting. Donations will be accepted up to 14 December. We thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness.
