20.01.2022 I have been a little disappointed lately by some of the workmanship I've been called into remedy at peoples houses. My first tip for any DIYers looking to tackle blistering paint is to prick a blister first and if water emerges, that means moisture is trapped under the paint or is finding its way in from behind. My advice? Strip the blistered paint with a hot air gun and leave the wood until it has dried. Prime the surface and then repaint the whole of the repaired area. :) Any more questions, happy to help!
