24.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who popped by to say hello or tried a taster treatment yesterday. I had a lovely time and hope to come back to the markets in a couple of months. The first workshop is all about the earth element and being grounded at this time of high summer. Oki-do yoga is one of my great passions and Im excited to be supporting Maria with these workshops.

18.01.2022 Today I’ve made the incredibly heartbreaking decision to close Bayside Reflexology treatments for the time being. Despite my already high level of hygiene this is to keep inline with the government’s policy on physical distancing and the most recent advice on business closures. I will be calling my regular clients to discuss this decision. In the meantime I will be available every Wednesday and Saturday if you would like a phone call or if in isolation, any supplies. I woul...d also like to offer a complimentary one on one self care hand Reflexology tutorial via Skype, Messenger or Zoom to anyone who would like another tool to put in their staying at home kit. 17.01.2022 Its been a bit of a rollercoaster hasnt it?! Our adrenals have all taken a hammering with the stress of major changes to our routines and lifestyles. For some people its been quiet and lonely and for others stress has increased tenfold. No matter where you are on this scale, take a moment to feel the air enter your lungs and feel your feet touching the ground. Take a mindful moment. Unfortunately Reflexologists in Queensland are still unable to offer treatments with COVID-19 restrictions in place. With this in mind and considering the wellbeing of my clients, Bayside Reflexology will be staying closed until the end of June 2020.

06.01.2022 Bayside Reflexology will no longer be offering mobile Reflexology treatments. To my dear clients I thank you for inviting me into your homes and your lives. I am grateful that I was able to bring a moment of relaxation and peacefulness to you all. The COVID restrictions in Queensland have given me an opportunity to review what I really want to offer through my Reflexology practice. Ive decided to close my business in its current format and change direction. Ive always been... passionate about caring for those on a journey with cancer. I have recently undertaken the Butterfly Touch Therapies course for cancer care to work towards this goal. It will take some time for me to find a way to make this possible with the support of some great mentors. I am sad to be saying goodbye to how my business started and to my clients but Im excited to be able to follow my passion.

All clients will be contacted prior to their appointment for a COVID safe check. Looking forward to seeing you soon Living Balance Health Centre - Brighton The Greater Brisbane region will transition to eased restrictions at 6pm today, following a weekend lockdown enacted to contain any potential spread of the UK v...ariant of COVID-19. The restrictions are similar to Stage 3 restrictions Queensland saw in July last year and will be in place at least until 1am 22 January. You will be allowed to leave your home for any purpose. The following gathering restrictions are in place to keep you and others safe: You must carry a mask at all times. Masks must be worn in indoor places including shopping centres and supermarkets, gyms, places of worship, libraries, public transport, and taxis and rideshare vehicles. Masks must be worn in workplaces if social distancing isn’t possible and it’s safe to do so. You don’t need to wear a mask in private vehicles, while outdoors at a safe distance from other people or if you’re doing strenuous exercise. Businesses and venues can have one person per 4m indoors and one person per 2m outdoors. Restrictions on visits to hospitals, aged care, disability accommodation and prisons will remain. 02.01.2022 Yesterday I had the great pleasure of meeting Marie Duggan from @butterflytouchtherapies. Ive recently completed the Butterfly Touch therapies CPD course for cancer care. We spent the morning talking about the integration of Reflexology services into hospitals and hospices. Marie has been at the forefront of taking Reflexology and Reiki into these clinical environments both in the UK and Australia. Im so excited to start working towards this in Brisbane and to share Reflexology with those affected by cancer.
