01.01.2022 His grades are good so.... So, no help. Unfortunately many parents hear this from their child’s school.... All too often, schools do not see the need to offer accommocations (504 plan in the states) because the child is doing fine academically. This is so frustrating, because often our kids are refusing to go to school due to issues that can only be resloved at school. My hope is that more schools will become educated on the impact mental health plays on our child’s learning. This May for Mental Health Awareness Month I am busting 30 childhood mental health myths, one myth, one day at a time. Will you help me? You can help by sharing these myths and spreading knowledge even farther. You can also help by leaving a comment and letting me know what myths to cover next. Together we can make a difference. #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #childmentalhealthawareness
