With 16 girls participating in their first ever Orange ball & Green ball match play event, held at Redland Bay Tennis Club. 11.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE As of the 23rd of March, 2020 ALL TENNIS COACHING IS CURRENTLY ON! With advice from Tennis Australia, all tennis lessons at Bayside Tennis Coaching are still running. Although to adhere with social distancing recommendations, changes will be made to how we coach. These changes include; ... - We are unable to provide any loan racquets to anyone due to hygiene reasons. - Ball tubes or Buckets and racquets will be used to collect the balls during coaching lessons this is to minimise contact with the balls directly. (each child will have there own bucket to use, with there name on it) - Both buckets and tubes will be cleaned between lessons. - Each coach has disinfectant and wipes on court. Our coaching may look alittle different in the coming weeks, as our main focus is keeping kids active as well as keeping social distancing practises in place. As recommendations from the government are constantly changing, we will keep you all posted with further updates moving forward. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you on the court soon. 06.01.2022 Hi All, After the overnight update on the Covid-19 we would like to inform you all that the Redland Bay Tennis Club is CLOSED until further notice as of 25 March 2020 (effective immediately). ... The Redland Bay Tennis Club and Bayside Tennis Coaching fall under the framework of closures released by the Federal Government of; Community and recreation centre Community clubs and Hubs Please note this closure includes; All Tennis Coaching (group, squad and Private), Cardio Tennis All fixture programs All Court Hire (both Member and non-member) Social Tennis Groups This was an extremely tough decision to make as we understand the importance of the community keeping fit and active however our number one priority is to keep the community safe and healthy. We do want to see you all on the Tennis court after this is all over and one Guarantee we can make is that Bayside Tennis Coaching and the Redland Bay Tennis club will be still here after this all settles.
