Coming in 4th and also having a terrific season was William Akec! Also big congratulations too to Jack Mann on placing 3rd in the Year 9 Central Conference Awards after having terrific year for his side! 21.01.2022 Hi Baysie Bears The year like no other is almost at an end and we wait in anticipation on what 2021 will bring but I know for certain it will be another amazing year for our awesome footy club. This year, despite significant turmoil was an historic year for the club with the introduction of girls teams, two Grand Final appearances and topping the year off by being awarded East Perth District Champion Club Youth; which is a phenomenal effort given we didn't have any youth te...ams (years 7 - 12) four years ago. A big shout out to all involved in the resurgence of the mighty Baysie Bears. From myself and our committee we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year; we hope you can all enjoy the festive season with family and friends and for those with families in NSW & SA that can't, we are thinking of you as I know from a personal level how difficult it is not seeing family this time of year. This year we have been lucky enough to secure sponsorship for this program in Bondall & Cameleon Coatings & Paint we thank these businesses for the continued support of our Academy.... **EARLY BIRD SPECIAL** Academy open for kids from Yr 3 to Yr 12 $55 per player includes training shirt & hat, Register and pay before the 1st Jan to get a $5 discount ($50) ACADEMY DETAILS: - Starts Sunday 7th Feb - 8am to 10am - 7 week Program - Feb/March Long weekend Off - Houghton Reserve Bayswater Accredited coaches from not just Bayswater but from the district. 08.01.2022 Hi Baysie Bears While it is little late this year I am please to announce our AGM is to be held on Sunday the 1st on November 3.00pm at The Bayswater Bowling Club 58 Murray st Bayswater. This is a very important meeting as it will set our committee for 2021 and I see next year as a very important year as we anticipate fielding a full compliment of year groups from Auskick Through to year 11/12 and we also hope to field 4 girls teams.... I urge as many people as possible to attend because the more people involved the more successful we will be. While I intend to nominate for President again it will be my last year as I feel it will be time to hand over to inject new faces and thinking into the club. This being said all positions are effectively vacant and I encourage anyone to nominate for any role they feel suited to. Please reply via email with your nomination and to what role.
