20.01.2022 The piriformis muscle is found deep in your buttock and when it gets tight can lead to pressure on the sciatic nerve (which runs down the back of your thigh). Try this stretch for size: 1. Lie on your back with one knee pulled up to your chest 2. Draw the knee across the body towards the opposite shoulder 3. To add in a gentle spine stretch, allow the hips to move, gently twisting through the spine... 4. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds 5. Adopt a kneeling position and bend your spine forward so your forehead moves towards the ground 2. Stretch your arms in front of you, with both hands flat to the ground 3.
