So, if you have had a dental accident or sports injury, including broken, chipped or lost teeth and are experiencing excessive pain, please do not hesitate to give us a call on 9284 2995.... How to manage a Toothache top tips: If you are not able to get to the dentist straight away, try these remedies! Take a painkiller Over-the-counter pain relief medication such as paracetamol or ibuprofen can ease the pain if its distracting or youre finding it difficult to sleep. This will provide relief for about 4-6 hours. Try salt water Salt water helps to remove bacteria from the mouth and can reduce swelling. Add between a quarter and half a teaspoon of salt to warm water and gargle for at least 20 seconds. Apply Ice Ice can numb the pain in an area outside our mouth. It is great if you have a sore jaw or a toothache; however please be careful not to put it next to your tooth directly or else this may lead to more pain.

21.01.2022 Meet the team! Today we have Dr. Parsa Partovi So what makes Parsa a great dentist you ask? Parsa is continually surpassing the benchmark for professional development in wanting to provide the best that traditional and new research and technology can offer to the comfort, health, durability and aesthetic improvement of teeth. He is currently also involved in the international publication of research.... Parsa began his studies in Biomedical Engineering prior to studying Dentistry, both at the University of Western Australia. He has completed a Masters of Clinical Dentistry (Implant Dentistry) to help replace teeth that are terminal or absent, recognising the poor quality of life that so often occurs with missing teeth and the potential improvement to eating, speaking, appearance and the overall health of the mouth with the use of dental implant therapy. Appreciating the Holistic nature of the mouth and its fundamental interconnectedness to the rest of the body, Parsa has completed a Graduate Diploma in Dental Sleep Medicine. This allows him to appropriately manage Sleep Disordered Breathing which includes Snoring, Mild-to-Moderate Sleep Apnoea, or in severe cases to augment CPAP to make it more tolerable or substitute CPAP when it is intolerable.
