25.01.2022 R U OK? 2020 has been a challenging year to say the least. Ask someone how they have been doing.... Talk to someone about how you have been feeling. Do the most you can today to ask R U OK? But most of all don't forget you can do this any day of the year. Mental health is around 24/7, 365 days a year not just on this day. Practice talking about about mental health and supporting each other. We are always available to talk to at the pharmacy.

24.01.2022 We would like to wish Minh a very Happy Birthday!

15.01.2022 WOMEN'S HEALTH WEEK DAY 2 Cardiovascular Health What is cardiovascular disease?... It is the general term used to describe diseases of the heart and blood vessels. An example is Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) which also effects body parts such as the legs. Symptoms of a heart attack often differ for women in comparison to the chest pains men experience. If you experience one or several of these symptoms that progressively get worse within 10 minutes, contact 000. Looking after your cardiovascular health includes(but is not limited to): - Checking cholesterol levels - Aiming for 30 mins of activity per day - Understanding your blood pressure - Keeping a diet rich in wholefoods such as vegetables, fruits, lean meat, chicken, fish and low-dairy foods - Minimise salts and saturated fats in foods - Including soluble fibre in your diet to keep 'bad' cholesterol low. - Manage weight - Consult with your doctor If you are having concerns with your cardiovascular health, contact your GP or come and see our educated pharmacists at Bayview Pharmacy today!!
