18.01.2022 Temporary closure- still open for emergencies. The Australian Dental Association (ADA) and Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) have just updated Managing COVID-19 Guidelines to Level 3. This allows the practice of orthodontics only for emergencies. In line with this we have decided to put the health and safety of all of our patients and staff first, therefore we have made the decision to temporarily close. We are hoping to reopen in approximately 3 weeks,... however as with all things related to COVID-19 this cannot be guaranteed. We will open on our normal clinical days for any orthodontic emergency, e.g. poking wires, broken brackets, lost retainers, lost plates and anything else you are having difficulty with. Please call/email us in these instances. Our phone lines will be open during normal business hours. If your appointment time has been affected, we will be contacting you to reschedule and discuss next steps. We can only emphasise how difficult this has been for us as a team. We hope you understand. We urge you to follow the guidance provided by the government and stay at home with your loved ones. As soon as we can get back to normal life we will be there for you again. 17.01.2022 We are still open. There have been a lot of changes lately with regards to the COVID-19 Pandemic and how Australia is combating the spread of the virus. Many businesses have been placed under strict prohibitions, and we know that there is confusion around how the business' that remain open can continue to operate within the new regulations. Bayview Orthodontics has not yet fallen into a category of business that has been forced to close. We remain open and are striving to con...tinue to provide you all with the level of care that we have always prided ourselves on. Extra levels of infection control and policies to reduce the volume of traffic through are waiting rooms and clinic have been implemented. Once again, we do ask that if you feel even mildly unwell that you call to reschedule your appointment. See more

15.01.2022 Bayview Orthodontics is back!! The Government has revised the dental service restrictions to ADA Level 2, from Tuesday 27th April. This means we are able to return to treating our patients. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of our patients and parents who have been so supportive during this difficult time. Our fabulous reception staff have been busy calling all patients who had their appointments cancelled. If you have not been contacted yet, you should receive ...a call in the next few days. We will continue to observe heightened infection protocols that many of you would have seen before the shutdown. As always during the COVID19 outbreak please inform us of any illness, in particular respiratory ones, before your appointment. If you are worried about whether your care can continue with us through this period, please rest assured we are still open and ready to look after you! We are taking steps to make sure our clinic remains as safe as possible to give you the confidence that you can continue coming in to receive treatment and advice as nec...essary. If you have a cold, flu, runny nose, cough or believe you may be coming down with any respiratory illness, as a courtesy to other patients and our staff, please call to reschedule your appointment. Please call us to reschedule your appointment if you departed mainland China, Iran, Italy or South Korea or if you have had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 while infectious, as you must self-isolate at home for 14 days.
