24.01.2022 B & B Industrial pallet racking upright protectors are a proudly Australian Made product, manufactured in Sydney NSW for over 10 years. These upright protectors incorporates a patented design that provides ongoing protection, with no need for any bolts or drilling. Made from an extremely tough polymer, in conjunction with a foam inner, they can withstand significant impact and has persistence of shape to give ongoing protection. Impacts caused by forklifts are dissipated ove...r the length of the unit, instead of being concentrated at one point, making it less likely to cause damage to the upright. THE TESTING Accredited Testing Service, MTS, underwent testing on the protectors in accordance with Australian Standards, AS 4084:2012 STEEL STORAGE RACKING CLAUSE 2.4 ACCIDENTAL ACTIONS to validate the energy absorption characteristics of the upright protector when subjected to an unintentional impact from material handling equipment (i.e. a forklift). Testing was conducted to validate the energy absorption capability of the upright protection system when subjected to a 400 Nm impacted in accordance with AS 4084:2012 CLAUSE 2.4.1 (c) and (d).
