24.01.2022 Well done to the six scouts who attended the Kingborough District Camping Competition held at Allens Rivulet this weekend. Blackmans Bay walked away winners of the Cubby Stephens Trophy, the first time we have won the competition in 25 years!!! Well done to all and a huge thank you to Bronwyn and Alex! "Go the Blackmans Bay Drop Bears!!!!!"

21.01.2022 CHRISTMAS TREES Just to let everyone know that we WILL be selling our christmas trees this year! We will be in our usual place, out the front of Mitre 10 Kingston, on the weekends of the 5th and 6th and the 12th and 13th of December. Both days from 9-4 or until sold out.

21.01.2022 COMMUNITY CHALLENGE #1!! Our Joey Scouts are challenging kids in our local community to build an indoor cubby/fort. If you would like to post your creations to our Facebook page, our Joeys will choose their favourite ones and there will be prizes for the winners.... We will put a post up on Tuesday 12th May with the winners and how to claim your prizes. Good luck and have fun!

21.01.2022 Donations of non perishable items can be delivered to our hall tonight (Monday 7th Dec) between 6-9pm or on Wednesday (9th Dec) to Browns River between 6.30-8.30pm where our scouts will be boating. These will then be passed on to Kingborough Helping Hands to help those in need.

15.01.2022 Sorry it's taken me so long - this sleeping bag was put aside in one of those 'really safe places' and then forgotten about until found this morning. My kid accidently picked it up at Group Camp and it's not ours. Anyone recognise it? Happy to drop off at your place, it's the least we can do. Oh, and universe? All activities are designed to help little kids develop practical skills and confidence, and are led by highly trained leaders. Joey Scouts are boys and girls aged 5 to 7 years (5 year olds must be in full time school). 02.01.2022 This past week our Venturers, and some of our Scouts, were joined by Venturers from Port Cygnet and Matthew Brady scout groups for a trip to Maria Island. Activities included biking, hiking, fishing and exploring, all whilst taking in the amazing scenery and wildlife found on the island. Thank you to the leaders for all your help in making this such a memorable time away.
