10.01.2022 The Bathurst Regional Community Safety Committee (BRCSC) have developed a campaign in line with the Bathurst Community Safety Plan 2019-2023 to address the crim...e of steal from motor vehicle. The Bathurst Regional LGA is currently ranked 45 out of 120 LGAs for steal from motor vehicle offences, with 185 incidents recorded in 2019. A large percentage of local steal from motor vehicle offences targeted vehicles in residential areas which had been left unlocked, often with valuables inside. As a result, the BRCSC have developed a campaign reminding residents to secure their vehicles and valuables to greatly reduce the risk of becoming a victim.
