25.01.2022 Some great ideas!

24.01.2022 Navigating through financial stress caused by the COVID-19 crisis can be a challenge, but you don’t have to struggle alone. Our Moneycare financial counsellors... can help by providing advice and support to manage debt, negotiate with utility providers and others you may owe money to, or prioritise expenses. Our service is free, confidential and free from judgement. To get in touch with one of our Moneycare financial counsellors, go to: https://fal.cn/39LC5

11.01.2022 This National Sorry Day we pause to remember the mothers and children of the Stolen Generation. The word sorry will never be enough, but it’s a good place to start.

03.01.2022 The financial impacts of COVID-19 are evolving rapidly and hit different members of society unevenly. You may have lost income or had it drop significantly. You may be navigating Centrelink for the first time. The Salvation Army Moneycare team are ready to help. Why not make contact with them and see how they can help?

02.01.2022 While our country has faced many challenges in recent months, we want to assure you that we are continuing to assist those who have been impacted by the devasta...ting Black Summer bushfires. All money raised from the Salvos’ Bushfire Disaster Appeal must and is going to people and communities impacted by the bushfires. This is not only a legislative requirement, but our commitment to these people and communities. We know from experience and research, that helping people get back on their feet can take years and we will be there for the long haul. When you support the Salvos during a disaster, you are not only supporting people and communities in the immediate aftermath of the disaster, but also with ongoing financial and emotional relief as people fully rebuild their lives. Thank you once again for your generosity. To see more answers to some frequently asked questions, go to: http://ow.ly/WvEU50zS3kL

01.01.2022 In these unprecedented times we know that our services will be in high demand as people face the financial and social fallout of this major global event. Right now, we are working with our local community, as we have always done, to ensure that we leave no one in need. This includes the people we have always been helping who are living in extreme hardship; people who have never needed us before the devastating impacts of this pandemic; and the people who have never felt so is...olated and alone as they do right now. It is our mission to live, love and fight for everyone in need and that need is now greater than ever. Please give generously and partner with us, we can’t do this without you.

01.01.2022 Huge thanks to everyone who has made a donation to the Red Shield Appeal. Money raised helps us to keep serving our local community. Locally, funds raised through the Red Shield Appeal have been used to assist during local bush fires and to provide material assistance and crisis support through our local centre. If you are able to give to help those in our community who are doing it tough please click on the link below. If you would rather give in person, we would love you to drop into the Family Store on Fishery Point Rd and donate there. TOGETHER we can all make a difference!
