09.01.2022 Momentous event for Darling Rise: It may not look like much to the uninitiated ... but this is the last sewerage pipe which joins our development with the lower Kingsway Road sewer connection. All that is left to do now is get the sump completed, which should be ready next week. Then we can secure paperwork and clearances from the relevant government departments so we can apply for titles. 04.01.2022 Interest rates cut The Reserve Bank has cut interest rates today by 0.25 per cent. The official interest rate is now 3.25 per cent. Rates were last this low in October 2009. The 25 basis point fall is the fifth rate cut the Reserve Bank has made since November last year. Rates have now fallen 1.5 per cent since the current cycle of easing began.
