21.01.2022 JOBKEEPER PAYMENT FACT SHEET Designed to help business affected by the Coronavirus to cover the costs of their employees wages, so that more employees can retain their job and continue to earn an income.

21.01.2022 Extension of time to enrol for the JobKeeper scheme! The Commissioner has extended the time to enrol for the initial JobKeeper periods, from 30 April 2020 until 31 May 2020. If you enrol by 31 May you will still be able to claim for the fortnights in April and May, provided you meet all the eligibility requirements for each of those fortnights. This includes having paid your employees by the appropriate date for each fortnight.... For the first two fortnights (30 March 12 April, 13 April 26 April), we will accept the minimum $1,500 payment for each fortnight has been paid by you even if it has been paid late, provided it is paid by 8 May 2020. You can enrol and claim for JobKeeper earlier if you choose. For example, you can enrol by the end of April to claim JobKeeper payments for the two fortnights in April. Because of this, we have implemented the following policies and procedures for the firm regarding sickness as advised by the World Health Organization. We are asking you if you have any flu-like symptoms such as; coughing, sore throat, fatigue and/or shortness of breath to please consider the following:... If applicable, reschedule your appointment. As an extra precaution we are also asking if you, or if any household family member, has returned from overseas travel, please reschedule your appointment for 14 days after their/your return. 16.01.2022 COVID-19: JobKeeper Payment Steps to get ready If you require assistance call us 07 4661 2144. We are here to help. 1. Check if you and your nominated employees meet the eligibility requirements.... 2. Subscribe to updates on the ATO website so we can let you know when new information is available. 3. Notify eligible employees that you (their employer) intend to participate in the JobKeeper scheme. 4. Confirm with eligible employees that they agree to you being the primary employer to receive JobKeeper Payments. 5. Send the nominated employees the JobKeeper Employee Nomination Notice to complete and return to you. 6. Keep the Employee Nomination Form on file. 7. Pay the minimum $1,500 to each eligible employee per JobKeeper fortnight. The first fortnight starts on 30 March and ends on 12 April. Alternatively, you can make one combined payment of $3,000 for the first two fortnights paid by the end of April 2020. 8. Enrol for JobKeeper from 20 April using the Business Portal and authenticate with myGovID. Sole traders are eligible for the JobKeeper Payment for one business participant if their business has experienced a downturn.
