23.01.2022 Early start this morning for the team. First up- Stud Cattle Competition. Oakwood Mil Mil secured 1st place in her junior heifer class, led by Lachlan O’Sullivan- Blanch. Oakwood Straight up placed 2nd in his under 13 months Junior Bull class, also led by Lachlan O’Sullivan- Blanch. Oakwood B-Boi also placed 1st in the 14 + months Junior Bull class, led by Matt Kelly. Ella Sterling led Oakwood heifer Black Puddles to place 1st in her class. Amazing job, Team! #whiteandblue

22.01.2022 Amazing results for BCC today! Oakwood Mil Mil took out 1st in Lightweight Heifer/Steer Class and then went on to take out Grand Champion, led by Sally Oakwood Reflex took out 1st in his Heavyweight class, led by Ella Sterling.

22.01.2022 Our steers had a clean sweep in the Heavyweight class- well done BCC!! Black Beetle 1st, Flex 2nd, Top Dog 3rd, Blue Steel 4th, Muska 5th.

19.01.2022 Heading home after a huge day. Congratulations team on a job well done under difficult circumstances. Congratulations on first place in their respective age groups in Junior Handlers competition.. Avah Murdoch and Matt Kelly. Cattle also performed well with a number of prizes including Champion Euro Bull and Champion Euro Female.

19.01.2022 Here’s some great results! Lily took out second as year 8 novice junior judge, Shantell Year 11 intermediate junior judge and Abigail was given an encouragement award for her efforts in the Year 8 Novice Junior judging class. Well done, team!

19.01.2022 Big Day at the Bundaberg Show, our team of students and our cattle performed well. Congratulations Avah Murdoch winning Years 12-14 Handlers and clean sweep in Years 12-14 Judging Megan Terry, Josie Hutton and Avah Murdoch. Many awards today for our cattle, more details will follow but congratulations to the team and Paul and Kellie Forman for quite a few champions today including Champion Show Exhibit.

19.01.2022 WELL DONE: The Wide Bay Hoof'n'Hook Competition results are in: + Our Steers: Heavyweight we placed 1st to 5th a clean sweep! Middle-Weight we placed 2nd.... + Senior Experienced Handler: Joshua Hargrave came 1st in that is quite an achievement considering he is against all his contemporaries in Wide Bay. Junior stud cattle handling under 15 years - 2nd Avah Murdoch, 3rd Lily Mason, 4th Cody Muller, 5th Dean Campbell. 15 to 25 years, 4th place Matt Kelly, 5th place Ella Sterling. Congrats to all of the team today, you all did a great job for the first show of the season.

06.01.2022 Today was the first time to participate in a cattle judging comp for some of our Novice Year 8 Hoof n Hook students. Job well done to Mitchell and Boyd- I was impressed with your work today!

06.01.2022 This morning is all about the students judging cattle. They need to view and judge four animals, ranking them from 1st to 4th according to their purpose. The categories were finished steers, young heifers, young bulls and unfinished steers.

05.01.2022 Last night the team participated in Junior Paraders and Stud Beef judging. Avah Murdoch took out 1st place and Matt Kelly took 4th place in the 15+ years All of our paraders did a fantastic job, the 10-14 years are to be commended on their work in their division - two heats with a grand total of 50 competitors!! BCC took out second place in the schools competition for their cattle handling and maintaining our cattle bays. Well done, team! #whiteandblue
