25.01.2022 SPARTAN PROGRAM For the next 2 months I will be running a competition at paragon fitness for anyone that is up for the challenge of a lifetime. The routine posted here must be overseen by myself or another personal trainer at paragon fitness (subject to avaliability) and the best 3 times by each gender will recieve the following prizes- 1st- A full body remadial massage from the professionals at Beaute Aroma (rrp $80) 2nd- A free PT session with myself... 3rd- 2 free BC fitness bootcamp sessions The progam is as follows, in any order, and in as many sets as you choose. 50 reps bench press at Your bodyweight 50 reps seated cable rows at your bodyweight 50 reps squats at your bodyweight 1km row 1km treadmill 3km stationary bike (lvl 15) The female spartaness program is identical but with 1/2 bodyweight for all weight training segments. If you want something to aim for I myself have completed the routine in 24:55 at a bodweight of 78kg. I also had a client keep a watchful eye over me to make sure there was no cheating which he was more than happy to do considering the amount of discomfort I was in. This routine is not for the faint of heart, but will push you right to your limits. Here is the male and female leaderboards as they currently stand- Male- At current bodyweight Ben Crane- 24:55 Trav Paddick- 27:04... Rickie Girdwood- 30:42 Female- At 1/2 bodyweight Ruthie Hill- 21:50 Chelsea Nicole- 25:10 Kate Walczak- 26:50 If anyone out there thinks they've got what it takes to best these spartans get in touch with one of the trainers at paragon. The PT's are holding top spot in both classes, wouldn't you just love to knock us off our perch! bring it on!
19.01.2022 So what does everyone think about Sam Stosur's physique, too much lean mass for a woman, or just right? She wouldn't quite qualify under the "juggernaut" status, but definately "powerhouse".

Anyone out there thinking they can best the current titans at the top of the leaderboards, go ahead and organize a time asap with me or one of the other trainers at paragon fitness to have your power, stamina, endurance and willpower put under the microscope and see what your really made of! Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be given out on the finish date.
16.01.2022 I know everyones probably sick and tired of me going on about how superiour high intensity interval training is over steady state training. But it really is your number 1 weapon in your arsenal for fat loss. Very few other styles of training will burn over 600 calories in under 30 minutes. If your still doing long drawn out slow walks for your cardio, your doing it wrong! Science doesent lie! In my opinion of course.

Big congratulations to Christie Jackson (20:57) now sitting in first place and Hayley nitschke (23:44) taking 3rd place amazingly 7 months after giving birth. The female leader board now looks like this/weights done at half bodyweight 1st- Christie Jackson 20:57 2nd- Ruthie hill 21:50 3rd- Hayley nitschke- 23:44... Male leader board/weights done at full body weight 1st- Ben Crane- 24:55 2nd- Travis Paddick- 27:04 3rd- Ricky girdwood- 30:16 Competition runs until end of April, we need the blokes to lift their game as only a handful of us have managed to complete the routine and the girls are doing it for fun. Surely someone wants to knock me off my perch! Bring it on! See more
12.01.2022 A huge congratulations to everyone that came and conquered the beep test at PM blast tonight. Out of 11 people, everyone smashed their old time out of the park and we had a collective improvement of 90 shuttle runs across the board! Anyone familiar with the beep test can appreciate how truly substantial this is. Not quite at Forrest Gump level yet but well on the way!
