24.01.2022 Join our happy group of art journalers Saturday the 20th February for some fun cutting up our journals. Did you know that art journaling is an important part of art therapy? It is relaxing, intuitive and emphasises the idea of enjoying the process over a perfect outcome. All welcome including young people 12 and over.

23.01.2022 UPDATE- Any items purchased in the day of the workshops that are gel printing related will have a 10% discount applied. Items include gel plates, acrylic paint, brayers and stencils. GEL PRINTING WORKSHOP Saturday 6th MARCH. WHERE- B creative with T. ... Time 10 am to 1.30 pm. Cost $25.00 If you have your own gel plate feel free to bring it but they will be provided. What is this workshop about? Gelatin printing is a mono-printing method that creates fabulous, complex prints on a single sheet. This makes them a great addition to your journaling, card making, scrapbooking, junk journaling and mixed media supplies. In this class you will make a lot of prints and have a really good time. All welcome including young people over 12. Please book if you can as places are limited. Drinks, cakes and sandwiches available to purchase in the store. There will be a break to enjoy them. 17.01.2022 What a fabulous fun morning we had at the private function this morning. It was a mock wedding, I made a wedding cake and we served a high tea. Thank you view club ladies for choosing B creative with T for your function, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you very much Blaire, Natasha and Leanne for all the hard work you put in to make the high tea a success, great job ladies.

16.01.2022 Colour like the pros class Wednesday 3rd February. We are going to be diving deep into paper and other surfaces. If you are coming can you please book with Trish as I have a limited amount of some papers and don’t want anyone to miss out. If you are coming for the first time-welcome- if at all possible can you come at 9.30 as it will give me time to get you caught up on what we have done so far. Do not stress if that’s not possible.

14.01.2022 Art Journaling Saturday 6th February Do you hate staring at a blank page? This week we are using book and music paper to get started creating. This class can be started anytime. There is lots of repetition but a new page can be finished every week. You will learn lots of techniques, learn about products and have a lot of fun. Please think about joining us at 10 am on Saturday. Ring Trish to book or book on the store’s website. Booking really helps for preparing classes.

10.01.2022 Confused about the difference between Mixed Media and Art Journaling? There are currently classes in both of these and it may help you choose which one suits you by hearing an explanation. Of course, you could do both! Mixed media refers to any artwork that uses more than one medium. That is, if you do a watercolour and then put details in with pencil or pen then it is mixed media. Usually, when doing a mixed media piece more than that is used. It might include paint, collag...e and other things that create a 3D effect. This creates lively and personal artworks for you to enjoy in your home or to give/sell. Art journaling uses many of the same techniques but the purpose is different. Art journaling aims to give you a place to express your creativity just for you. You get lost in the joy of the process with the outcome being not the most important thing. It can include writing, photos, collage, paint, drawing, things you have saved on trips and so much more. You learn techniques and products that allow you to make art for yourself at home. Artworks done in a journal aim to be less bulky so you can close your books. The photos show a mixed media piece on a tag and a journal page that is an upcoming lesson. See more
