09.01.2022 Chatterbox, Conversation Group for People with Aphasia - Core Program at our Stroke Support Centres Did you know that Aphasia is a common effect of Strok...e, occurring in up to 38% of Stroke Survivors? (1) Recently, at the Boroondara Community Stroke Hub, our Chatterbox group members were happy to be joined by the Northern Aphasia Group. Chatterbox provides a relaxed, social environment, where members can rebuild self-confidence and support one another through a facilitated conversation. Conversations are facilitated by our volunteer Speech Pathologists. If you (or someone you know) experiences Aphasia and are interested in joining a Chatterbox Group at one of our Stroke Support Centres, please contact our Coordinators at the respective Centre (details below).
