10.01.2022 Congratulations to Carolyn Burgess who has been named Head Coach and Georgia Fuller who has been named Assistant Coach of Netball for the Southern Sports Academy for 2021/22. Carolyn was a founder of BDNA and our very first coach in 2011 of the inaugural U17s team. Her experience as a netballer at State and National levels has contributed to her successful coaching career. Georgia was a player in the inaugural BDNA team and has since been one of our most successful coaches,... coaching Barellan’s first Division 1 team. We are very excited for them both and their new role of enhancing netball in the Riverina. Academy nominations are open for those Athletes who are turning 15 or 16 in 2022, ie. born between 2006 and 2007. Nomination forms can be found on the Southern Sports Academy Website.
