21.01.2022 ! ? If it's not the real you then it's time to take off the mask and be You! .... , ; ' . , . , ' ' . See more
20.01.2022 Inhale the future and exhale the past (whilst waxing on and waxing off )! Happy New Year! I spent some of my time watching a 30plus yr follow on from the 1984 Karate Kid, which has been both cringeworthy and bingeworthy all at the same time. Will Cobra Kai ever die?!... Not to intentionally spoil it, but there is a point where past rivalries and pains are (temporarily?) put to the side, it also has a backdrop over Christmas and the New Year which is THE time we review our past and think of our future. Perhaps you spent some time thinking about your past and your future whilst on your holiday? Letting go of our past especially if we have experienced painful, emotional times is not as easy as it sounds. None of our childhoods are equal. In fact, you and your siblings may have totally different views on your upbringing, which can be very confusing if you thought your childhood was difficult and your siblings thought otherwise. Why is this? Well, what is always key to remember is that no two people see and feel an experience in exactly the same way. The EMOTIONS that are 'associated' with an experience are the most important factors. Two people in the same car accident can have totally different memories of the same event. Another really important thing to remember is that the mind thinks in 'pictures' However, over the years you may verbally tell your story and think about it so many times the actual facts get totally distorted - a bit like Chinese whispers. What the most important fact is, how do YOU feel and if you feel you need help to move on from your past then Rapid Transformational Therapy can help. If I am too much of a close contact, then have a look on the Marisa Peer Find A Therapist (FAT Register: yes really). Upgrading that inner child is the key part, it is not a luxury - it is essential to your mental health, your growth and your inner happiness!

07.01.2022 Scroll down for a link to confidence and self-belief in any situation. Many of my clients feel that when they were young, they always felt like they were not enough. Some of the younger clients use the term ‘not worthy’. It struck me that there were so many ‘not enoughs’. that I have compiled some of them: ... Not attractive enough, Not smart enough, Not perfect enough. Not talented enough. Not loud enough. Not exciting enough. Not interesting enough. Not slim enough. Not responsible enough. Not beautiful enough. Here is where it came from They didn’t feel loved; they didn’t feel special; they didn’t feel significant. They felt different. They didn’t believe that what they wanted was available to them. I’m beginning to believe that many of us have felt at least one of these negative beliefs no matter what childhood we experienced, because the EXACT SAME FEELINGS came up even if the client went through ‘Trauma’ or ‘trauma’ (you see the subtle, but massive difference in the text there, don’t you?) I overcame those feelings (mine was the last one!) when I discovered some truths and I decided that I was enough and I now help others realise that they are more than enough. I the words I told myself: I am lovable I am significant I can choose Because I said those words to myself so much, my mind started to believe them. When I believed in myself, I discovered that I could do anything. . Make better choices, and it will change how you feel about yourself and your life. to find confidence in any situation. With love Emma
