16.01.2022 Hello folks, how has your new year, new decades kicked off. I must admit ive been a bit sluggish. The gut health is struggling. I did indulge in a few of Christmas’ finest foods that I wouldn’t normally, after all it was Christmas So its taking a bit for me to get the Liver functioning at it’s peak, its had quite alot of detoxing to do and get my gut health back to its prime, trillions of beneficial bacteria colonising in harmony. So how am I achieving this? Lots of green smoothies, vegies/salads and most of all lots of water. Was your new years resolution health and wellness related? How can I help you achieve it?



13.01.2022 ENDOCRINE DISRUPTORS. What are they? Have you heard them spoken about? Well here’s a very brief overview. Lets call the ED’s for this article. EDs are the chemicals we encounter in our daily lifestyle, both in the food we consume and our physical environment.... Sprays, pesticides and added hormones to food and washing powder, soaps, fly sprays etc etc in the home. So EDs mimic our own hormones and block hormone receptors. 02.01.2022 Im seeing/hearing alot of people saying Covid 19 has created some bad habits. Excessive drinking and snacking. Its been tricky times. Times many generations haven’t ever had to deal with and I’m guessing food/drink was used as a way of comforting ourselves. My life during covid wasnt much different BUT pre covid I decided to have a ‘gap’ year while recovering from a severed tendon injury to my foot. We were expecting alot of dry season visitors and I had plans I was wanting... to activate. So it happened, this and Covid had me all topsy turvy. I was disappointed there would be no visitors, our plans for a very rare family gathering at Easter fell through, my place in this crazy world was uncertain and I was left feeling lost. Fast forward a few months and things have settled and my clothes are telling me that I was also comfort eating A 4 week holiday with family and ALOT of beach time is helping to reset my Why. Why do I want to be the best Me? So small steps back to pre Injury, pre Covid, being mindful of what and why I’m eating. Ive booked a personal trainer for when I return home for some much needed strength training, never done that before and I will get back to being my best me.
