23.01.2022 What an amazing video by Surfing the Spectrum explaining what surf therapy is and all it’s amazing benefits. Thanks for sharing! Surfing the Spectrum is a community based surf initiative that provides free surf therapy events for autistic children in NSW. This amazing initiative will hopefully be coming to the coast later this year for our south coast kids

20.01.2022 Visual schedules come in all shapes and forms and can be used anywhere! Today we used our natural environment to create our visual schedule: sand practice surfing ... game swim We used this tool to provide structure to our session, which assisted with maintaining our focus, assist with transitions between tasks and to provide a sense of security

01.01.2022 Surfer legend Leo has made some great gains since starting surfing. He took a huge surprise step this week by standing up on his board! It’s amazing how kids can show us what steps they’re ready for by us being down on their level, following their lead and providing the right support to have them teach us what they’re capable of achieving. Go Leo! We’re so proud!
