23.01.2022 Three ways to avoid bleeding gums and achieve great gum health are: Twice daily tooth brushing with a soft toothbrush Regular flossing to clean and remove food from areas where your toothbrush cannot reach Cleans with your dentist, who can remove any areas where the build-up has become hard and developed into tartar or calculus that can’t be removed with a toothbrush... Happier and healthier mouths are our goal!

We are trying to do our bit at Beaches Dental - we are screening patients, doing temperature checks, and encouraging patients to wear masks in the waiting room when coming to visit us.

We have a bin to collect our community's old toothbrushes as well as floss and toothpaste containers. 10.01.2022 Crowns are full coverage restorations usually made of porcelain that cover the whole tooth and are cemented on. They are a great option for teeth that don`t have a lot of natural tooth remaining either due to decay or being continually filled/repaired over a number of years. A crown will also be recommended after root canal therapy to strengthen the tooth and minimise fracture risk.

03.01.2022 We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dental assistant/receptionist that is keen to participate in all aspects of the practice reception, dental nursing and sterilisation. The position is for a dental assistant/receptionist who will be an integral part of our team in maintaining the smooth running of the practice and providing a great patient experience. Duties include chair-side assisting, sterilisation (meeting high standards of infection control), co-ordination of lab work, reception duties including answering telephones, scheduling appointments and taking payments. On the job training and support will be provided so you are comfortable and confident in your duties.
