16.01.2022 Introducing receptionist Olivia Ameer-Beg meettheteam #meettheteamfridays What motivated you to work in the health industry: I’ve always been very interested in health and fitness. I found that incorporating Pilates into my exercise schedule made a big difference to back and shoulder pain I had experienced from past physical work I would do. So getting to work in this health conscious environment has taught me a lot!... Favourite way to keep active: I love running and HIIT training, but keeping generally active with walking and sports with fiends is fun too! Fun random fact: My family is obsessed with line dancing Favourite way to spend your weekend: Starting off the week taking part in our volunteer work is very important to me. Then hitting the beach, going for a big walk with fiends and finding great coffee is on the list. I also love playing touch footy on Sunday afternoon. First place you'll be visiting when international borders open: Rhys and I had planned to visit friends in Kenya, and visit a small island called Zanzibar, so we’d still love to do that! Best trip you've taken: Norway with my sister was insane! Hiking almost shear cliffs for the most breathtaking views of the sunset at midnight was unforgettable ! Pop in and say hello: Monday and Friday mornings at the Northbridge Clinic

15.01.2022 Introducing massage therapist Sue Lowe meettheteam #meettheteamfridays Areas of specialisation: Glutes, TFL and ITB tightness are my favourite. I love seeing clients leave feeling like they’ve had a grease and oil change.... Favourite way to keep active: Gym, walks, SUPs and skiing. Fun random fact: I have met the Dalai Lama on 4 occasions. Favourite way to spend your weekend: Early morning swim with breaky on the beach, day in the boat, dinner with friends and chilling with a good book then nanna nap on Sundays. First place you'll be visiting when international borders open: As I snapped my Achilles on Boxing Day 2019 & turned 50 a couple of weeks later, I hope to actually do the trips that i had planned for my 50th. Skiing in Salt Lake City / Vegas followed by New York / Mexico. I has also been planning my NYC trip with a bunch of girls from school for the past 10 years to celebrate our milestone bdays together - we WILL celebrate like we had planned. Woohoo! Best trip you've taken: Would have to be travelling to the Uganda/Zaire/Rwandan border in Africa to see the gorillas in the wild. See them we did but not without the border crossing being blown up, being shot at by snipers and charged at by a Hippo. Amazing life experience regardless. Come and see me: Monday - Thursday at the Narrabeen clinic

01.01.2022 Introducing physiotherapist Erica Wood meettheteam #meettheteamfridays Areas of specialisation: Sports injuries, especially shoulders. Shoulders are complex and challenging to rehab. Having had a few shoulder injuries myself, I can empathise with the issues they cause!... Favourite way to keep active: I really enjoy strength and conditioning sessions at the gym, a mix of weights and cardio to use all muscles and all energy systems. But on weekends I like to get outside and go hiking. Fun random fact: I had a goal of visiting a new country every year and was going well until COVID got in the way! Favourite way to spend your weekend: If I can get away then camping and hiking somewhere in our beautiful National Parks! Otherwise going to yoga then getting outdoors, going for a hike or to the beach. First place you'll be visiting when international borders open: South America as I had plans to go this year, or back to Germany to visit my sister and her family. Best trip you've taken: A hard pick but Myanmar is a country that always stands out in my memory! Come and see me: Tuesday, Wednesday mornings, Thursday, Friday afternoon and Saturday at the Narrabeen Clinic.
