23.01.2022 To round off this little series of football club positions. Every position I've posted so far are front facing positions that require elections at the AGM and are elected for a 1 year term. now you may read though them and think, "I want to help but none of these positions suit my talents." there are plenty of other ways to participate in a football club other than playing or as board members. for example there is -Vice President -general committee members with various roles ...It coordinator, grants manager, fundraising coordinator, canteen coordinator, events coordinator -Head Coach -Referee Manager -Coaches -Referees -Team Managers -Sports Trainers -FAO's Speaking from experience volunteering is sometimes a tough thankless job and you do wonder why the hell I'm putting myself though this. But what makes it all worth while is getting to club and seeing the happy smiling faces of the kids coming to training and playing with there friends. Seeing the passion of a senior team in the dressing sheds. The smell of the deep heat. The jubilation of singing the team song after a hard fort win and even the social interaction and the friendships that are made within the club. You start to realize that none if it is possible without your individual help. There are multitude roles, some of which require training which the club can pay for. Basically if you want to volunteer but don't know how you can help. I challenge you to comment below and I will get in contact with you personally and we as board members can guide you to a position that fits your unique abilities.
