22.01.2022 An extraordinary honour for our President Terry Lobert and Vice President Ross Headifen to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at South Melbourne beach. We are... extremely grateful to Meghan and Harry for showing an interest in Beach Patrol's work. Prince Charles has also been a strong advocate for the world's oceans and combating marine plastic pollution. We are heartened that our work is supported and thank Meghan and Harry for taking time to meet with representatives of Beach Patrol Australia. Also huge shout out to all our wonderful volunteers and supporters over the years who have put in countless hours cleaning our streets and beaches. Still lots of work to be done but lovely to have a day to celebrate and to have the work of so many recognised. Official photographs will follow. A quick snap of Ross and Terry meeting the Duke and Duchess below. #HarryandMeghan #cleanerbeaches See more

12.01.2022 To all our fabulous volunteers out there, we just wanted to check in and make sure you're doing ok? We miss our regular catchups to clean our beaches and streets but most of all we miss seeing familiar friendly faces and can't wait to see you all again. We know many of you have been picking up litter while out on a walk to get some much needed air and exercise. Thank you so much for that. If you do continue to collect litter on your walks, please do wear gloves and be safe and if you're inclined, download the Litter Stopper App so you can upload information about the cleaning you've done. The data is important and valuable. Thanks again, stay healthy and connected. http://litterstopper.com/index.html
