25.01.2022 If you are unwell and you’ve been tested for COVID-19, it’s important that you stay at home while waiting for your test results. Do not go to public places ... this includes work, school, childcare, university, shopping centres, public parks, social or religious gatherings. Do not go shopping or to restaurants shop online or have family or friends deliver what you need to your door. Do not have visitors at your home. Only people who usually live with you should be in the home. You must avoid all contact with them and they must not sleep or be in the same room as you. People who live with you are not required to self-isolate unless they develop symptoms and need to get a COVID-19 test. If you must leave home to seek urgent medical care, wear a surgical mask. For more information about self-isolation, including how to safely do it while living with others, visit: www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidisoadvice

Wherever and whenever possible, please continue to practice physical distancin...g: keep 1.5 metres away from others. avoid physical greetings such as handshaking, hugs and kisses. Were lucky in South Australia to be able to get back to doing things we enjoy, but lets not be complacent.

22.01.2022 Please stay home this Easter and school holidays. Easter is a special time for many South Australians, providing us all with a chance to spend time with our lo...ved ones or enjoy a long weekend camping before winter starts. But the coronavirus outbreak means this years Easter break will look a little different for us all. While we have to change our plans, you can still spend quality time with your loved ones. Staying at home will reduce the chances of you and your family becoming sick, or causing others to become sick. Cancelling holiday plans is always upsetting, but it is a vital step in protecting everyone, including our regional communities and their health resources. While family get-togethers, parties and BBQs are usually a great way to spend the long weekend, this year its important that everyone continues to practise social distancing. You should avoid spending time with anyone outside your immediate family and follow the state rules on indoor and outdoor gatherings. There are still lots of ways you can celebrate the holiday, and this can be especially important during these worrying times. Special meals, Easter egg hunts and camping in your backyard are just some of the ways you can keep entertained and there is no limit on the amount of hot cross buns you can eat. Even during the holidays, its important we all work together to stop the spread of the virus for the sake of everyone in our community.

22.01.2022 Weve reached a huge milestone, South Australia! 7 days with 0 new COVID-19 cases! Lets not undo all the good. ... Keep playing your part to stop the spread: Download the COVIDSafe app Keep practising good hygiene Stay 1.5 metres away from others Learn more: https://bit.ly/35h1gG5

08.01.2022 Thousands of South Australians are getting tested for COVID-19 due to cold and flu-like symptoms, so we wanted to remind everyone about the simple ways you can ...take care of yourself at home while you recover. Tissues (to cover coughs and sneezes) Hand soap or sanitiser (for cleaning your hands after blowing your nose or sneezing) Bed or couch (because rest, rest, rest, and more rest.) 08.01.2022 Our eyes, nose and mouth are key gateways for bacteria and viruses to enter and exit our bodies. Keeping your hands away from your face may be a challenging hab...it to break, but its important to minimise how often you do it to stop the spread of COVID-19 and other germs. Reduce your risk by: Making sure your hands are clean by frequently washing them with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Occuping your hands with something else: you can rest them on your thighs, rub your fingertips together, or fiddle with a pen. Asking friends and family to point out each time they see you touch your faceand offer to do the same for themto make you a little more aware of just how often you do it. 07.01.2022 South Australians following advice on self-isolation/self-quarantine and social distancing are all playing their part in stopping the spread of COVID-19. The t...erms self-isolation and self-quarantine mean you cannot leave your house and have contact with others. This ONLY applies to the people who have: come home from travelling overseas or interstate come into close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 tested positive for COVID-19 If you dont fall into the above categories, then you should be practicing social distancing. Social distancing is taking measures to ensure you have less close contact between you and other people while out in the community, at home, and in the workplace. When social distancing, you can still go out for essentials, such as: shopping for food exercising in a public space such as a park, avoiding crowded areas and close contact with others medical needs providing care or support to another individual in a place other than your home going to work if youre in a job where you cant work from home. As always, if youre feeling unwell, please stay home until youre better. Learn more: www.stopthespread.sa.gov.au

06.01.2022 Even though we are seeing low numbers of new daily COVID-19 cases, social distancing recommendations have not changed. If youre not chillin at home, then ther...e are only four reasons why you should be out: 1 shopping for essentials 2 accessing medical care 3 exercising 4 travelling to and from work or education Keep at least 1.5 metres from others if you must leave your house for any of these reasons. Keep up the fantastic work South Australia!

06.01.2022 SA Health are sending text alert messages to people who have entered South Australia from Victoria since the border restrictions changed on 9 July. These mess...ages advise people to get tested in the first 24 hours and on day 12 of their 14 day self-quarantine period. These messages will be sent daily to SA residents who have returned from Victoria and are self-quarantining. Some essential travellers crossing the border will have received the text alert, however, essential travellers only need to be tested if symptoms develop (even if symptoms are very mild). There is a higher risk of COVID-19 in South Australia because of the current outbreak in Victoria, so its important that anyone who develops symptoms of COVID-19 seeks testing immediately: www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidtesting

06.01.2022 0. Nil. Zero. Zilch. Nada.... Nought. We have 0 known active COVID-19 cases in South Australia. Were doing great SA, but we must not be complacent. There is a risk of new cases from people arriving from other states and territories. Our state still has tight border restrictions, but people can arrive in SA (and quarantine for 14 days) or certain essential travellers can get an exemption (e.g. emergency services, compassionate reasons, transport and freight services). More than 33,300 people have arrived in SA since border restrictions were introduced. Important reminder for all South Australians: Keep 1.5 metres distance from others. Get tested if you have COVID-19 symptoms, even if mild. Download the COVIDSafe app. Practice good hygiene. Keep working from home (if possible).

06.01.2022 Travel between South Australia and New South Wales South Australia Police and SA Health are monitoring closely the situation in New South Wales with an increas...ed number of COVID-19 cases being reported today. The continued spread of cases in New South Wales is of particular concern. This situation is volatile and changing rapidly, the South Australia State Coordinator Grant Stevens strongly urges all people from South Australia contemplating or intending to travel to New South Wales today; or in the coming days, to very seriously consider whether that travel is essential. Further, those people who are holidaying or travelling in New South Wales should consider returning to South Australia as soon as possible. The situation will be closely monitored overnight and reviewed again tomorrow morning. South Australia Police continue to have a presence on the New South Wales border to ensure all people entering the state from New South Wales have submitted a cross border travel application. This will ensure a record is maintained of those people entering the state, so if there is another outbreak, they can be contacted. For more information about other restrictions, go to covid-19.sa.gov.au/ or call the COVID Information Line 1800 253 787.

Mandatory health and travel checks prior to entering our buildings are still being carried out. We will co...ntinue to observe social distancing and limit the number of patients in our waiting room. Symptoms include: headache, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose OR fever OR history of fever or chill in the absence of an alternative diagnosis OR acute unexplained loss of smell or altered sense of taste OR new onset of clinical symptom compatible with COVID-19 OR If you have travelled from Victoria within the past 14 days, please arrange to have a COVID-19 test. To stop the spread of COVID-19 people with even mild symptoms of respiratory infection should get tested. When attending for treatment, please follow the instructions you are given. This could include wearing a mask provided, sanitising your hands when arriving and entering through a separate area. Please be assured that our clinic is COVID-19 safe. We remain prepared to transition back to only telehealth consulting should COVID-19 threat levels increase.

05.01.2022 You might be in self-quarantine or self-isolation for 14 days because you: have returned from overseas/interstate travel have been in close contact with a con...firmed case have tested positive for COVID-19 If this is you, there are things you can and cant do. 04.01.2022 Have you been in Victoria in the past 14 days? [GET TESTED] Get tested if you have any symptoms, even if mild, or if you have been in contact with someon...e with symptoms. You can also get tested even if you dont have any symptoms, if you are concerned. Find where to get tested: https://bit.ly/2ZPth5A [SELF-QUARANTINE] You must self-quarantine for 14 days. 03.01.2022 The soap you use does not have to be antibacterial. Regular soap will protect you if you wash your hands properly. COVID-19, like many other viruses, is he...ld together by a lipid (fatty) membrane. Washing with soap will remove the fat that sits around the virus particles and destroy it. How to wash your hands properly: Use soap and running water wet hands thoroughly and lather with soap (any soap!) rub hands together for 20 seconds as you wash them, creating a good lather pay attention to the backs of hands, wrists, between fingers and under fingernails rinse hands well under running water dry hands with a single use disposable paper towel or a clean towel. *When you cannot access soap and water, or your hands arent visibly soiled, you can use alcohol based sanitiser.
