03.01.2022 Discussions about our trading hours over Christmas & throughout the year. Dear valued customers Even though early this year Co-vid 19 caught the world by surprise, throughout this crisis Beachport Pharmacy was able to look after all our customers without even one customer missing out on essential medications. Still, the events of this year have prompted our Beachport Pharmacy staff do some soul-searching and led us to reassess our priorities in life.... It became obvious to us that we (the pharmacy staff), also needed to refocus, take greater responsibility for looking after our own health and consider the wisdom of adopting a more holistic approach to life. After much thought the Beachport Pharmacy team came to a considered decision to no longer trade on Saturday mornings. This is so that on weekends our pharmacist can attend professional continuation seminars, medical appointments (eg optometry) and be more accessible to his aged-parent in Adelaide. Our pharmacy staff Bianca will also be able to have a better work-life balance with her young family. Being a small pharmacy, we are not able to access more trained staff to help us at short notice. For the above-mentioned reasons not trading on Saturday mornings is likely to be the norm in the foreseeable future. We made this decision secure in the knowledge that by looking after our own health we will be in an even better position to look after your health for the long term.
